The Role

Zicasso is looking for an execution-oriented Senior Product Manager who will immediately have the opportunity to shape the next generation of Zicasso's web applications.

The ideal candidate is a proven Sr. Product Manager with extensive experience in developing product strategy & roadmaps, as well as producing and reviewing product requirements documents (PRD) across multiple technology applications in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

In this role, you will lead product management efforts to create innovative, user-centered experiences on Zicasso's online travel marketplace. By analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, you'll collaborate closely with business, design, and engineering teams. You will work hands-on across multiple desktop and mobile web applications and various product areas. The role will report to the COO.

This is a fully remote, full-time position, working from home, at a location within Texas, USA.

There is some flexibility in your work hours but it is required to overlap with California, eg. until 4pm Pacific Time Zone (GMT -8).


The work will all be conducted in English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small but nimble product team, and foster a culture of innovation, experimentation and data-driven decision making within the product team.
  • Develop and implement product strategies consistent with the company's overall vision and business objectives.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure alignment on product vision and goals, including creating and delivering compelling product presentations and documentation.
  • Define product roadmaps and prioritize features based on user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility from MVP to full market deployment.
  • Oversee the product development process from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization.
  • Prepare and review product requirements documents (PRD)
  • Define & track product performance metrics and analyze data to inform future product decisions.
  • Identify, assess and manage product risks and dependencies.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience in Product Management and related fields with at least 5 of these years as a product manager in consumer facing web applications
  • Proven ability to lead a product and UX team and collaborate effectively with highly cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated track record of translating product strategy into detailed specifications, making functional and user experience design tradeoffs, managing product launches and owning the product successes post- launch. You solve for the long term while delivering results now.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Intellectually curious with a data driven mindset. Experience shipping and iterating based on data.
  • Effective communicator: able to synthesize and translate between technical and non-technical audiences; effectively communicates topics involving complex trade offs to stakeholders across the organization and to external partners.
  • Experience is setting up as well as optimizing processes
  • Passion for building user-centric products.

Desired Experience:

  • Travel industry experience.
  • Relevant experience in UX design, business analysis, or software development.
  • Experience with e-commerce payment systems.
  • Experience with search engine optimization (SEO)
  • Experience with Google Analytics (or other web analytics tools), A/B Testing, and other web analytics tools
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment.
