Senior HR Generalist - LATAM

About the Role 

We're looking for a Senior HR Generalist to serve as the right hand to our Head of HR. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who combines strong HR generalist fundamentals with advanced data and process skills. You'll be trusted to run HR operations independently, spot where processes can improve, and act on it without waiting for direction. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Own end-to-end HR generalist functions: onboarding, offboarding, HR administration, and policy execution 

• Lead and continuously refine the onboarding program for new hires, delivering a structured, welcoming, high-impact integration experience 

• Identify operational bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and design, implement, and execute improved HR workflows across the entire employee lifecycle 

• Build and maintain HR dashboards, trackers, and custom spreadsheets, producing actionable metrics and reports using advanced Excel, Power BI, and Power Automate 
  
  
• Lead or support the implementation, configuration, and administration of HRIS platforms, automating manual tasks wherever possible
   
• Handle day-to-day HR requests, employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and policy enforcement, in coordination with the Head of HR 

• Support HR operations for remote, distributed teams across multiple countries and time zones 

• Maintain accurate HR records, data integrity, and reporting for leadership 

• Assist with compensation and benefits administration and other general HR generalist duties as needed 
  
  
• Monitor and ensure compliance with labor regulations across multiple jurisdictions
   

Required Qualifications 

• Bilingual: professional fluency in English C1 level, written and spoken 

• 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role, ideally within fast-paced startups managing remote, cross-border teams 

• Advanced Excel proficiency (complex formulas, pivot tables, dashboards, data analysis) 

• Strong command of the Microsoft Office/365 suite 

• Proficiency in Power Automate and Power BI 

• Demonstrated success mapping, redesigning, and executing improved HR processes 

• Experience implementing or administering HRIS platforms 

• Working knowledge of labor legislation in Latin America. 

• Experience in labor and employee relations 

• Strong ownership mindset — able to operate autonomously, anticipate business needs, and deliver solutions with minimal supervision 
   

Nice to Have 

• Additional language skills (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese) 

• Experience supporting HR for a professional or advisory services firm 

• Familiarity with highly regulated or compliance-driven environments
