You'll partner with member agencies, sponsors, speakers, vendors, venues, and internal teams to execute high-touch events that reflect the professionalism and collaborative spirit of TRUE Network of Advisors. Your work will directly impact member engagement, partner relationships, and the overall success of the organization.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Lead the full event planning lifecycle for corporate meetings, executive retreats, educational conferences, shareholder meetings, incentive trips, client events, and virtual programs.
  • Develop and manage detailed pre-event, onsite, and post-event plans, including rooming lists, event orders, audiovisual requirements, runs of show, staffing schedules, and contingency plans.
  • Build and maintain registration websites, mobile event applications, attendee communications, surveys, and event technology platforms.
  • Coordinate agenda development, speaker preparation, content reviews, and stakeholder planning meetings to ensure every event achieves its business objectives.
  • Serve as the onsite lead and primary point of contact for attendees, sponsors, speakers, vendors, and partners while ensuring seamless event execution.
  • Manage virtual event production, webinar support, and technical event logistics.
  • Source, negotiate, and oversee vendors, venues, destination management companies, hotels, transportation providers, speakers, entertainment partners, and gifting suppliers.
  • Partner with marketing, creative, and partnership teams to deliver branded experiences, sponsorship fulfillment, event communications, and attendee engagement initiatives.
  • Manage event budgets, track expenses, support ROI analysis, and develop post-event recommendations and reporting.
  • Coordinate attendee travel, accommodations, logistics, and customer support throughout the event lifecycle.
  • Simultaneously manage multiple events while maintaining exceptional attention to detail, proactive communication, and operational excellence.

What You Bring

Day One:

  • 5+ years of experience planning and executing events in a professional services, corporate, hospitality, insurance, financial services, technology, or similar environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience managing high-touch corporate events, executive meetings, educational conferences, retreats, client events, or comparable professional experiences.
  • Experience utilizing event technology platforms such as Cvent, Guidebook, Zoom Webinars, registration systems, mobile event applications, and survey tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events, budgets, stakeholders, vendors, timelines, and deliverables simultaneously.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines while adapting quickly to changing priorities.
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation experience.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships across clients, sponsors, speakers, venue teams, vendors, internal teams, and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience serving in both logistical and front-facing event roles, including attendee support, event hosting, session moderation, or onsite leadership.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 35%, including occasional trips lasting up to seven days.

  • Experience within employee benefits, insurance, professional services, consulting, association, or membership-based organizations.
  • Experience managing executive retreats, board meetings, shareholder events, or incentive travel programs.
  • Experience supporting hybrid and virtual event production.
  • Familiarity with sponsorship fulfillment and partner engagement strategies.
  • Experience developing event metrics, ROI reporting, and post-event analytics.
  • Experience managing branded attendee experiences, gifting programs, and event merchandising initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success improving processes, simplifying workflows, and creating efficiencies within an event management function.
