The Senior Event Marketing Manager will own and execute the end-to-end strategy for sponsored events, field programs, and webinars. This role involves managing budgets, coordinating with sales teams to drive pipeline, and reporting on performance metrics.

Company Overview:

Procurement Sciences is at the forefront of transforming the multi-billion-dollar government contracting industry with Awarded AI, our cutting-edge platform designed to help businesses excel in government sales. We simplify complex processes, drive revenue growth, and deliver real cost savings through unmatched efficiency. As a leading venture-backed SaaS company founded by seasoned GovCon experts, we are not just participants in the AI revolution; we are shaping it by solving the industry’s toughest challenges. Our “One Team, One Fight” culture values creativity, accountability, and forward-thinking, and we invite driven builders and innovators to help us develop high-performing teams. Ranked among the top 10 percent of fastest-growing SaaS companies and on a clear path to becoming a unicorn, we are seeking top talent to join our early team and play a key role in building the next great AI software company.

About the role:

We are looking for a Senior Event Marketing Manager to own and grow our sponsored events, field events, and webinar programs. You will shape the event strategy, recommend where we invest, and personally lead execution from planning and promotion through follow-up and performance reporting.

Our audience is the government contracting community, including business development, capture, proposal, and executive leaders. You will work closely with Sales, BDRs, Product Marketing, and the broader Marketing team to create experiences that attract the right people, build relationships, and generate measurable pipeline. This is a hands-on individual contributor role with ownership of the event calendar, budget, and program performance.

What you will own:

  • Event strategy and investment: Build and manage an integrated event calendar aligned with business priorities, target accounts, and pipeline goals. Evaluate sponsorships and event formats, recommend investments, and adjust the mix based on results.

  • Sponsored events: Own trade shows, conferences, and industry sponsorships end to end, including sponsorship negotiations, booth planning, vendors, shipping, staffing, onsite execution, lead capture, and post-event follow-up.

  • Field events: Develop and execute executive dinners, roundtables, workshops, regional events, and partner programs. Work with Sales to select target accounts, build invite lists, drive attendance, and create opportunities for meaningful prospect and customer conversations.

  • Webinars: Own the webinar program from topics and speaker coordination through registration, promotion, rehearsals, live production, and on-demand delivery. Partner with Product Marketing and subject matter experts to deliver relevant content and clear next steps.

  • Promotion and sales activation: Coordinate event promotion across email, social, partners, and sales outreach. Equip AEs and BDRs with event briefs, invitation messaging, meeting goals, and follow-up plans. Drive target-account attendance and prebooked meetings.

  • Budget and operations: Manage event budgets, vendor contracts, timelines, and spend reconciliation. Maintain repeatable processes that make programs easier to execute and scale.

  • Follow-up and measurement: Coordinate timely lead handoffs and follow-up with Sales and BDRs. Work with RevOps to maintain accurate campaign tracking, report results, and recommend improvements based on attendance, meetings held, conversion, sourced and influenced pipeline, and cost efficiency.

What you bring:

  • 5+ years of relevant B2B event or field marketing experience, with independent ownership of programs, budgets, and measurable business outcomes.

  • Hands-on experience across sponsored conferences, company-hosted field events, and webinars, including direct responsibility for execution.

  • A track record of turning event engagement into qualified meetings and pipeline, with the ability to explain what worked, what did not, and how you improved results.

  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage concurrent programs, vendors, deadlines, and shifting priorities.

  • Experience partnering with Sales and BDR teams on target-account selection, attendee recruitment, pre-event outreach, and post-event conversion.

  • Practical experience using Salesforce or a comparable CRM, marketing automation tools, and webinar platforms to manage campaigns and assess performance.

  • Sound judgment about audience fit, event quality, and budget tradeoffs, plus clear communication and confidence working with speakers and senior leaders.

  • Ability to travel for events and support occasional evening programs as the calendar requires.

Experience that would be a plus:

  • Familiarity with the GovCon ecosystem, industry associations, and the needs of BD, capture, and proposal teams.

  • Experience in B2B SaaS or a growing technology company, including account-based field programs and partner marketing.

  • Experience with Salesforce and Marketo.

What success looks like:
A focused event calendar with clear goals and disciplined spending; well-executed programs that attract relevant prospects and customers; strong sales participation and timely follow-up; and clear reporting that shows which programs generate meetings and pipeline and where to invest next.

Requirements:

  • U.S. citizenship with the ability to pass a Federal Background Check and Identity Verification.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary with stock options in a rapidly growing, venture-backed company.

  • Comprehensive health plan, ensuring you and your loved ones are well taken care of.

  • Flexible work arrangements, including full remote work capabilities, to balance your professional and personal life.

  • Extensive professional development opportunities, providing a fast track for career advancement.
