Science Resource Developer, India Remote (India) | Full-Time Also searched as: Science Content Developer, Academic Content Developer, Science Content Writer, Subject Matter Expert (Science), Educational Content Developer
Do you want to build science resources from the ground up, the booklets, exams, assessments, and worked solutions that high school students actually learn from?
In a typical week you might write a set of exam-style questions on a Class 10 Physics topic, build step-by-step Chemistry solutions that read like a tutor talking a student through the problem, or structure a Biology booklet that makes a difficult concept easy to follow.
We started in 2020 with a handful of students and a belief that great education should not be out of reach. Today we operate across three brands with 8,000+ students and 425+ team members: roughly 100 in India and 325 onshore in Australia. The India team runs publishing, student experience, CRM and technology, operations, and people and culture.
For a student stuck on a hard topic, your explanation is the moment it clicks or it does not. Clarity is the whole job.
You create original science content for high school students, covering Physics, Chemistry, and Biology up to Class 10, including practice exams, booklets, assignments, assessments, questions, and worked solutions.
This is a hands-on creator role, not editing or refining someone else's work: you write the questions, define the structure, and write the step-by-step solutions and explanations that mirror a tutor's voice, helping students understand the scientific reasoning and not just the answer.
You structure your work around relevant high school science curricula and academic requirements, ensuring accuracy, consistency, appropriate difficulty, and curriculum fit. You keep resources logically organized so students can follow the progression from foundational concepts to more challenging applications.
You work alongside our existing India content team and report into the onshore academic team in Australia, aligning on requirements and learning objectives. You review and refine your content to keep it precise, rigorous, and student-friendly, and you contribute to the processes that let content scale.
The bar that separates a strong hire is subject breadth paired with the ability to explain simply. You understand Science well enough to work confidently across Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and you can turn a difficult concept into an explanation a high school student can follow independently.
By the end of your first three months, you are producing science exams, assignments, and booklet material independently, aligned to the required curriculum and level, with explanations and solutions that are clear the first time.
Create original Science content for high school students up to Class 10 across Physics, Chemistry, and Biology: practice exams, booklets, assignments, assessments, and learning resources.
Structure resources for clarity. Define the format and logical progression so material builds naturally as a student learns.
Write like a tutor. Produce step-by-step, student-friendly solutions and explanations that make the scientific reasoning clear, not just the final answer.
Cover multiple science disciplines. Develop accurate and engaging resources across Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
Align to the curriculum. Match content to relevant high school Science curricula and academic requirements for accuracy, consistency, and appropriate difficulty.
Collaborate with the onshore team to align materials with learning objectives and student needs.
Review and improve. Refine content for precision, scientific accuracy, clarity, and rigor, and suggest better question design, structure, and delivery.
A bachelor's or master's degree in Science / BSc, majoring or minoring in at least 2 subjects across Physics, Chemistry and Biology
1 to 3 years in science content development, academic content development, teaching, or a related role.
Strong conceptual understanding across Physics, Chemistry, and Biology up to Class 12.
The ability to confidently handle and explain Class 10 Science concepts across all three disciplines.
Familiarity with curriculum design, academic resource development, and syllabus alignment.
Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
The ability to break down complex scientific concepts into clear, logical, and student-friendly explanations.
The ability to work independently and manage several content projects at once.
Cross-timezone comfort, with overlap into Australian time.
Experience in academic writing, booklets, assessments, or practice-exam development.
Exposure to edtech or international curriculum frameworks.
Experience creating resources for high school students.
Interest in instructional design or educational technology.
The people who do well here are hands-on creators who like building from scratch rather than editing. They are comfortable working across Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and they care about clarity, logic, accuracy, and structure in Science.
They want ownership and impact over repetitive work, and they are driven to make learning intuitive. They take pride in an explanation or worked solution that a student can understand and follow without needing a teacher beside them.
Original content, to standard: Exams, booklets, assignments, and assessments that are accurate, clear, rigorous, and ready for students.
Solutions a student can follow alone: The scientific reasoning is visible, not just the answer.
Curriculum-aligned: Material fits the required high school Science curriculum and holds up to academic scrutiny.
Strong across all three sciences: Resources maintain a consistently high standard across Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
It scales: You help content get produced faster, more consistently, and with strong academic quality.
Apply with a CV and a short sample or description of Science content you created — a set of questions with worked solutions, a booklet section, or an assessment resource. If you can, include one explanation or worked solution you are particularly proud of.
