Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Healthcare Staffing

Position Type: Full-Time, Remote
Working Hours: U.S. Business Hours

About the Role

We’re looking for a bilingual Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive new business for a healthcare staffing services provider. In this role, you’ll connect with dental and medical clinic owners, office managers, and hiring decision-makers across the United States to introduce staffing solutions and build long-term employer relationships.

You’ll manage outbound prospecting, present trained graduates for administrative and patient-facing roles, negotiate placement fees, and coordinate job orders with the internal team. This position is ideal for a confident, organized sales professional who understands healthcare office operations and can turn cold outreach into lasting business opportunities.

What You’ll Own

Outbound Prospecting & Lead Generation

  • Make high-volume cold calls to dental and medical clinics across the United States.
  • Introduce staffing services, identify hiring needs, and qualify prospective employer accounts.
  • Follow up consistently with prospects to generate new business opportunities.

Candidate Pitching & Solution Selling

  • Present trained graduates for front desk, patient coordinator, treatment coordinator, and administrative positions.
  • Match candidate profiles to employer requirements and communicate their value clearly in English and Spanish.
  • Address objections and guide prospective clients toward a hiring agreement.

Job Order Management

  • Gather detailed job orders and clarify role requirements, timelines, and compensation expectations.
  • Coordinate with the internal team to ensure suitable candidates are presented promptly.
  • Manage multiple open job orders while maintaining consistent prospecting activity.

Negotiation & Account Development

  • Negotiate placement fees and service agreements with employers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clinic owners, office managers, and hiring decision-makers.
  • Follow up after placements, monitor client satisfaction, and identify repeat business and referral opportunities.

CRM & Pipeline Management

  • Record outreach activity, client conversations, open job orders, and deal progress in the CRM.
  • Maintain an organized pipeline and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Track sales activity and communicate pipeline progress, challenges, and opportunities proactively.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience in outbound sales, business development, or B2B sales, ideally in staffing, recruiting, healthcare staffing, or professional services.
  • Professional fluency in both English and Spanish, written and spoken.
  • Comfort with high-volume cold calling, objection handling, and phone-based selling.
  • Strongly preferred: hands-on experience in a dental or medical office as a Front Desk Representative, Patient Coordinator, or Treatment Coordinator.
  • Understanding of healthcare office workflows, including patient scheduling, insurance verification, patient intake, and treatment coordination.
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Experience managing job orders, client requirements, or multiple sales opportunities simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms for lead tracking, outreach documentation, and pipeline management.
  • Excellent organization, time management, follow-through, and independent working skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience selling staffing or recruiting services to healthcare practices.
  • Familiarity with dental and medical practice staffing challenges.
  • Experience negotiating placement fees, service agreements, or B2B contracts.
  • Established knowledge of front desk and patient-facing administrative roles in healthcare settings.

What Makes You a Strong Fit

  • You understand dental or medical office operations and can speak confidently with practice owners about their staffing needs.
  • You’re comfortable making cold calls, handling rejection, and consistently building your pipeline.
  • You take ownership of your sales targets, follow-ups, and client commitments.
  • You can switch naturally between relationship-building and direct sales conversations.
  • You communicate proactively and keep clients and internal teams informed.
  • You’re motivated by closing new business and developing long-term commercial relationships.

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistent outbound prospecting and a growing pipeline of qualified clinic prospects.
  • New employer accounts secured through effective outreach and negotiation.
  • Complete, accurate job orders that support timely candidate submissions.
  • Strong client relationships, repeat business, and referral opportunities.
  • Organized CRM records and reliable follow-up across all active opportunities.

Typical Day

Your day begins by reviewing your call list and prioritizing new prospects and follow-ups during U.S. Central business hours. You’ll spend much of your time calling dental and medical clinics, introducing staffing services, pitching trained graduates, handling objections, and moving interested employers toward agreements.

When a clinic is ready to hire, you’ll gather the job requirements and coordinate with the internal team to support candidate submissions. You’ll also follow up with existing accounts, explore additional hiring needs, and keep your CRM updated.

The role is primarily focused on outbound calling, business development, relationship management, and closing new

employer accounts.
