Sales Development Representative (SDR) – North America
Location: Boston, US
Reports to: Director, Global Sales Development


This is an entry-level role and a great launching pad into a sales career, full training and coaching will be provided. This role is critical to driving pipeline and revenue growth, and SDRs are expected to deliver a superior prospect experience that sets the stage for effective sales follow-up and long-term customer relationships.

Success in this role is measured by consistently meeting or exceeding qualified opportunity quotas.  This is a numbers-driven role, and we're looking for someone who's motivated by targets, not just activity.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop target accounts and inbound leads into sales-ready opportunities
  • Identify and qualify opportunities through outbound prospecting and timely inbound lead follow-up
  • Engage prospects across phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels to build relationships and uncover needs
  • Learn and apply AI-powered tools and internal research workflows to identify key buying-committee members, surface pain points, and personalize outreach at scale
  • Hand off qualified opportunities to the appropriate AE with clear context and briefing
  • Learn to handle objections confidently and articulate Bitsight's value proposition
  • Build trusted, credible relationships with prospects
  • Log activity accurately and consistently in our tools
  • Work toward and consistently meet qualified opportunity quotas in support of territory revenue goals
  • Share feedback with Marketing and Sales leadership to help refine messaging, targeting, and process

Required Skills/Experience

  • No prior sales experience required.  We're looking for coachable, motivated individuals eager to build a career in sales
  • A competitive, goal-oriented mindset with a genuine drive to hit and exceed quota, comfortable with metrics-driven accountability
  • Resilient and persistent; not discouraged by rejection
  • Coachable and receptive to feedback, with a growth mindset and eagerness to continuously improve
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-energy team environment; strong collaborator and team player
  • Positive, energetic phone presence with excellent listening and writing skills
  • Eagerness to learn CRM tools (Salesforce) and AI-powered sales workflows, with accurate data entry and lead management
  • Highest level of integrity
  • Proficient with standard productivity tools (e.g phones, email)
  • Bachelor's degree
