The Sales Administrator manages CRM data integrity, pipeline reporting, and proposal coordination to support commercial growth. They also serve as an operational liaison between Sales, Finance, and Client Success to ensure seamless deal execution.

Position Overview:

The Sales Administrator plays a critical operational role in enabling AMS's commercial growth. This individual will pioneer the infrastructure of our sales process — from CRM integrity and pipeline reporting to proposal coordination and contract administration — ensuring that our sales team operates with precision and efficiency. The right candidate brings deep experience in B2B sales operations, exceptional organizational rigor, and the ability to work fluently within a specialized healthcare environment.

At AMS, the Sales Administrator isn't a support function — it's an operational force multiplier. You will work directly with senior sales leadership and have visibility into enterprise-level deals with health plans, TPAs, and employer groups. Your precision and process ownership directly impacts revenue outcomes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain CRM data integrity (Zoho), ensuring accurate pipeline stage tracking, activity logging, and opportunity management across the sales team
  • Generate and distribute weekly sales performance reports, pipeline analyses, and forecasting summaries for leadership review
  • Coordinate the preparation of proposals, RFP responses, and client-facing presentations in alignment with AMS brand and messaging standards.
  • Partner with Finance and Legal on executing and tracking sales contracts.
  • Ensure all sales materials are current, version-controlled, and accessible to the team.
  • Serve as the operational liaison between Sales, Finance, and Client Success to ensure seamless handoffs and deal execution.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that reduce administrative friction and accelerate deal velocity.

Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in a sales operations or sales administration role, preferably in healthcare, SaaS, or B2B services
  • Demonstrated proficiency in CRM platforms (Zoho preferred); experience building reports and dashboards
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office/365, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Experience supporting enterprise sales cycles with complex, multi-stakeholder deal structures
  • Familiarity with healthcare industry terminology, payer operations, or managed care is a meaningful advantage
  • Proven ability to work independently and proactively with minimal direction
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills aligned with executive-level audience standards
  • Familiarity with information security regulations, data protection laws, and auditing frameworks such as HITRUST and HIPAA a plus

Education, Experience, and Licensing - Preferred:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or healthcare-related field preferred.

Experience: At least 2-3 years’ experience in sales or business development is preferred. Previous insurance or healthcare experience is a huge plus, particularly in the health plan, hospital, self-funded insurance, or payment integrity markets.

Suggested Pay Range

  • $80,000 - $100,000 commensurate with experience and education
  • 3 weeks’ vacation
