Sales Account Executive (Spain, France or Italy)
Job description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Account Executive to drive growth and manage strategic client relationships within the Spanish, French or Italian life sciences market.
This role offers the opportunity to join a fast-growing company working with pharmaceutical teams across Europe, delivering omnichannel engagement solutions, content, data services, and a newly launched subscription-based AI insights platform.
The role is ideal for a commercially driven professional with a strong pharmaceutical sciences background, who thrives in consultative, relationship-led sales.
Key responsibilities:
Strategic Sales Execution
Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy to grow the assigned market
Identify, prioritise, and develop opportunities with pharmaceutical, consumer health, and medical device companies
Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery to negotiation and closing
Collaborate closely with internal teams and selected partners to deliver integrated solutions
Revenue Growth
Achieve and exceed individual revenue targets for new business and account expansion
Grow existing accounts by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities across services and platform offerings
Build a strong, sustainable pipeline aligned with the company’s growth objectives
Client Engagement
Act as a trusted commercial partner to pharmaceutical stakeholders, understanding their business objectives and challenges
Lead high-quality client meetings, presentations, and negotiations
Represent the company at relevant industry events, conferences, and client engagements
Build long-term relationships that support repeat business and account growth
Operational Excellence
Use CRM and data-driven tools to manage pipeline, forecasting, and client interactions
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activity and opportunities
Provide regular reporting and market feedback
Actively contribute to the development and refinement of sales processes and best practices
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences
Experience: Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience in the life sciences sector
Industry knowledge: Strong understanding of pharmaceutical environments and commercial dynamics
Language Skills: Native Spanish, Italian or French.
Working proficiency in English
Track record: Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue targets in a competitive, consultative sales environment
