💼 About the Role

We are seeking a versatile, proactive Bilingual Virtual Assistant based in Latin America to join our client’s team. In this dual-function role, you will play a vital part in supporting store operations and driving team growth. You will be responsible for handling customer inquiries and providing reliable phone coverage when the primary Virtual Assistant is unavailable (including potential coverage outside standard 10 AM–6 PM hours), while also leading initial candidate screening for open positions.

Starting part-time (~20 hours/week) with clear potential to transition into full-time, you will conduct standardized phone interviews, record candidate responses, and schedule qualified applicants for secondary interviews with the Regional Manager. The ideal candidate brings strong English and Spanish language skills, prior recruitment experience, and a flexible, growth-oriented mindset ready to adapt as the company continues to expand.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Phone Coverage: Act as the primary phone support backup when the main Virtual Assistant is unavailable; take customer calls and assist with store inquiries.

• Extended Store Support: Work flexible or later shifts to extend phone coverage outside standard business hours.

• Candidate Screening: Conduct phone-screen interviews with prospective retail candidates using a standardized questionnaire.

• Recruitment Documentation: Record, document, and submit interview responses for evaluation.

• Interview Coordination: Schedule qualified candidates for secondary interviews with the Regional Manager.

• Operational Flexibility: Adapt and take on additional administrative or operational tasks as business needs evolve.

✅ Qualifications & Skills

• Location & Timezone: Based in Latin America (LATAM) for timezone alignment and language capabilities.

• Language Skills: Advanced/Fluent English (spoken and written); Spanish bilingual proficiency preferred.

• Recruitment Background: Previous recruitment or candidate screening experience is a strong advantage.

• Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, professional telephone manner.

• Adaptability: Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable taking initiative in a fast-paced retail environment.
