Our client, a leading franchise owner of Taco John's, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to join their Repairs & Maintenance + Project Management team. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and experience in the restaurant industry.


Project Management & Preventative Maintenance:

  • Manage and oversee repair and maintenance tasks from start to finish using 86 Repairs.
  • Create, confirm, and follow up on tickets, ensuring all issues are resolved promptly.
  • Source vendors outside of 86 Repairs’ scope as needed.
  • Schedule and coordinate renovation projects, including communication with General Contractors and Vendors.
  • Keep store-level teams and operations updated on project status.
  • Order and manage equipment, small-ware, and other necessary items.
  • Ensure timely delivery and installation of ordered items.

Communication & Coordination:

  • Utilize Basecamp, Slack, email, and phone for effective communication.
  • Provide clear and consistent updates to team members, vendors, and store-level staff.
  • Prepare and deliver daily summaries of R&M tickets and project statuses.

Vendor Management:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors.
  • Follow up on deliveries and track shipments to ensure on-time installations.

Requirements

  • Experience: Previous experience in the restaurant industry, particularly with restaurant equipment and maintenance is highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Basecamp, Slack, and email. Must be comfortable with phone communication.
  • Critical Thinking: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, troubleshoot issues, and make informed decisions.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and organizational abilities.

Benefits

  • Client Relationship: You will be directly working with the client. This means that you will communicate with the client, provide services, and address any client-related matters independently.
  • Payment: All payments for your services will be handled directly by the client. Elevate and Delegate is not involved in processing your payroll. Your salary will directly go to you.
  • Vacation Leaves and Holidays: While we may have recommendations or guidelines regarding vacation leaves and holidays, the decision is entirely at the discretion of the client. You are expected to align your schedule with the client's business needs and any specific policies or preferences they may have in this regard.

Salary: $1000 - $1500 / month

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM CST
