As a Remote Proofreader/Writer, you will play a key role in ensuring clarity, accuracy, and professionalism across internal communications, reports, client correspondence, and content related to security services and investigations. Depending on current priorities, you may also assist with drafting, editing, formatting, and proofreading materials to support recruitment, training, operations, and business development teams. This role requires self-motivation, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to maintain consistency in tone and style while working independently from a remote location.

Responsibilities

• Proofread and edit a variety of documents to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
• Write and refine content for marketing materials, blogs, articles, and internal communications.
• Collaborate with the content team to develop engaging and audience-appropriate writing.
• Ensure all written materials comply with company style guidelines and brand voice.
• Identify and correct grammar, punctuation, syntax, and spelling errors.
• Review content for factual accuracy and provide suggestions for improvement.
• Manage multiple proofreading and writing projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with team members to address content revisions and feedback.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a proofreader, editor, or writer, preferably in a remote setting.
• Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and style.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors quickly and accurately.
• Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style.
