Position Summary
The Radiology Recruiter is responsible for the full recruitment lifecycle of physicians and advanced healthcare providers, from sourcing and qualification through contract execution and successful onboarding. This individual develops and maintains strong physician relationships, identifies high-quality candidates, manages provider pipelines, and partners closely with internal departments to ensure a seamless recruitment experience.
The ideal candidate is confident, relationship-driven, highly organized, and energized by networking, cold outreach, and closing opportunities. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance recruiting priorities with business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, source, and recruit qualified radiologists and other healthcare providers through cold calling, referrals, networking, job boards, conferences, and marketing initiatives.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of physician candidates for current and future staffing needs.
- Conduct initial candidate outreach, screening, qualification, and relationship management.
- Schedule interviews and facilitate communication between providers and internal leadership.
- Manage physician contract preparation, negotiation support, execution, and ongoing contract maintenance.
- Partner seamlessly with the onboarding team to ensure a smooth transition from signed agreement through credentialing, licensing, and start date.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all candidate interactions and recruiting activity within the company's CRM and applicant tracking systems.
- Follow up consistently with existing leads and maintain long-term relationships with physicians for future opportunities.
- Meet established recruiting goals while maintaining a high-quality candidate experience.
- Identify and present a minimum of 4 qualified new business leads to the CEO each month by leveraging physician relationships, market intelligence, and industry networking.
- Represent the Recruiting Department in internal meetings, cross-functional initiatives, client interactions, conferences, and other company events as needed.
- Monitor physician recruiting trends, compensation benchmarks, and market conditions to help strengthen recruiting strategies.
- Collaborate closely with leadership, credentialing, operations, and onboarding teams to continuously improve recruiting processes and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish trust and build lasting relationships with physicians and healthcare professionals.
- Strong consultative sales and recruiting skills with confidence in cold calling and proactive outreach.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize multiple searches and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, polished, and highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.

- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
- Experience using CRM and applicant tracking systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other recruiting technologies.
- Previous recruiting, physician recruiting, healthcare staffing, sales, or business development experience preferred.
- Knowledge of physician credentialing, licensing, contract administration, or healthcare compliance is a plus.
- Comfortable planning conferences, like RSNA, for the entire organization.
- Attend recruiting conferences as discussed with CAO.
