We’re growing fast and looking for a motivated, collaborative Product Marketing Manager to join our Transportation Management Solutions Marketing Team. If you enjoy translating complex B2B software capabilities into clear, compelling go-to-market messaging, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. At Descartes, our Transportation Management Solutions help organizations improve the way they plan, execute, and optimize transportation operations. In this role, you’ll partner closely with Product Management, Sales, and Customer Success teams to develop messaging, support go-to-market initiatives, and enable customer-facing teams with the content, tools, and insights needed to drive successful customer conversations and business growth while expanding your product marketing expertise.
What You’ll Do
- Develop product positioning and messaging: Help create and refine value propositions, product messaging, and supporting proof points that communicate the value of Descartes Transportation Management Solutions to target audiences.
- Build and support sales enablement programs: Partner closely with Sales to develop customer-facing tools that improve sales conversations and support revenue growth. Create and maintain solution presentations, one-pagers, battlecards, discovery guides, objection-handling resources, ROI messaging, competitive comparisons, and other enablement materials to effectively communicate value throughout the buyer journey.
- Support go-to-market initiatives: Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, and Demand Generation teams to support launch planning, campaign development, audience segmentation, market expansion efforts, and gather field feedback to continuously improve messaging and content
- Contribute to product and feature launches: Assist in developing launch messaging, sales enablement materials, website content, customer communications, and campaign assets that support awareness, engagement, and pipeline growth.
- Support competitive intelligence efforts: Monitor competitor activity, industry trends, and market developments, helping translate insights into actionable recommendations that strengthen market positioning.
- Contribute to customer adoption and expansion: Create messaging and content that helps customers better understand, adopt, and expand their use of Descartes solutions across transportation management use cases.
- Develop customer success stories: Partner with Sales and Customer Success teams to identify customer examples, create case studies, and document measurable outcomes.
- Support thought leadership initiatives: Assist with the development of market-facing content, industry perspectives, presentation materials, and supporting research that highlights Descartes expertise.
- Measure and learn from results: Help track and analyze performance of product marketing activities, including content engagement, campaign performance, website conversion, pipeline contribution, and product adoption metrics.
What We’re Looking For

7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS, supply chain and logistics technology, transportation management, or a related enterprise software market.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Experience developing product messaging, positioning, and customer-facing content.

Experience creating customer-facing content, sales tools, presentations, or enablement materials that support prospect engagement and pipeline generation.

Exposure to product launches, go-to-market programs, demand generation initiatives, or competitive intelligence activities.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with Sales teams and translate customer and prospect feedback into compelling messaging and enablement content.

Understanding of B2B buying journeys, audience segmentation, customer challenges, and value-based messaging.

Ability to translate product capabilities into clear business benefits for executive, operational, and practitioner audiences.

Strong writing, storytelling, presentation, and communication skills.

Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams.

Salary Range: $105,000 to 115,000 USD annually. Compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for this position only. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills as well as the years of experience you have. Similar positions located in different geographic regions will not necessarily receive the same compensation.
