AI Summary

The Performance Marketing Manager will own the end-to-end growth strategy for multiple D2C e-commerce accounts, including media planning, campaign optimization, and budget management. They will also lead client relationships, mentor junior team members, and translate complex performance data into actionable business insights.

This is a remote position.

Role Overview-

We’re looking for a Performance Marketing Manager who can take ownership of D2C e-commerce accounts and drive growth through a combination of strong performance marketing fundamentals, strategic thinking, data analysis, and client leadership.

The ideal candidate has deep hands-on experience across Meta Ads and Google Ads, understands the business behind the numbers, and can translate campaign data into clear growth strategies.

This is a client-facing managerial role where you will be responsible for account strategy, performance, client relationships, team guidance, and overall business outcomes.

You should be comfortable working independently, managing multiple accounts, making strategic decisions, and taking complete ownership of the accounts you handle.

Key Responsibilities-

Performance & Growth Strategy

  • Own the overall performance marketing strategy for multiple D2C/e-commerce client accounts
  • Develop media plans, growth strategies, budget allocation frameworks, and channel strategies based on business objectives
  • Plan, launch, manage, and optimize campaigns across Meta Ads and Google Ads, with exposure to other digital platforms where relevant
  • Drive revenue growth, profitability, ROAS, CAC, and other key business metrics across accounts
  • Identify growth opportunities across the funnel, including acquisition, retargeting, conversion, and customer retention
  • Lead experimentation through A/B testing, audience testing, creative testing, funnel optimization, and new campaign formats
  • Continuously analyze performance trends and proactively identify opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement

Account & Client Management

  • Own day-to-day relationships with assigned clients and act as the primary performance marketing point of contact
  • Lead weekly/monthly performance review meetings with clients
  • Present campaign performance, insights, recommendations, and growth plans clearly to clients
  • Understand client business goals and translate them into actionable marketing strategies
  • Proactively communicate performance updates, challenges, and opportunities rather than waiting for clients to ask
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients and contribute to account retention and growth
  • Identify opportunities for account expansion and additional business within existing client relationships

Team Management & Collaboration

  • Guide and mentor Performance Marketing Associates, Executives, and Interns working on assigned accounts
  • Review campaign strategies, performance analysis, reports, and optimization plans prepared by the team
  • Delegate tasks effectively while maintaining accountability for overall account performance
  • Help team members develop stronger analytical, strategic, and client management skills
  • Work closely with creative, analytics, marketplace, and other internal teams to build integrated growth strategies
  • Share performance insights with the creative team and provide clear direction for monthly creative requirements

Data & Analytics

  • Analyze performance across Meta Ads, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Shopify, and attribution platforms
  • Develop a strong understanding of business-level metrics such as revenue, contribution margins, CAC, ROAS, AOV, LTV, and conversion rates
  • Identify patterns and insights from performance data and translate them into business decisions
  • Ensure accurate tracking, measurement, attribution, and reporting across accounts
  • Prepare and review regular performance reports and strategic recommendations for clients

Requirements

We’re looking for someone with:

  • 4–7 years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, preferably working with D2C/e-commerce brands
  • Strong expertise in Meta Ads and Google Ads
  • Prior experience working in a performance marketing/digital agency managing multiple client accounts
  • Proven experience managing and scaling e-commerce performance campaigns across small to large budgets
  • Strong understanding of D2C growth metrics including ROAS, CAC, AOV, CVR, LTV, and contribution margins
  • Strong understanding of Google Analytics, attribution, conversion tracking, and campaign measurement
  • Working knowledge of Shopify and e-commerce website analytics
  • Ability to build performance strategies and media plans independently
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable business recommendations
  • Good understanding of creative strategy and the ability to provide data-backed creative direction
  • Prior experience managing, mentoring, or guiding junior team members
  • Strong client-facing and presentation skills with confidence in leading client conversations independently
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Experience with email marketing, WhatsApp marketing, marketplace marketing, or other growth channels is a plus
  • Experience with lead generation campaigns is an added advantage
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must have their own laptop and a stable work-from-home setup

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You

  • Think beyond campaign metrics and understand the business impact behind the numbers
  • Naturally take ownership of client accounts and their outcomes
  • Can move comfortably between strategy, analysis, execution, and client conversations
  • Enjoy solving complex performance and growth problems
  • Are proactive about identifying opportunities instead of waiting for instructions
  • Can confidently challenge assumptions and bring new ideas to the table
  • Enjoy mentoring people and helping teams perform better
  • Communicate clearly, especially when dealing with clients and stakeholders
  • Are comfortable making decisions independently in a fast-moving environment
  • Can balance multiple accounts without losing attention to detail
  • Are curious, dependable, analytical, and constantly looking for ways to improve

At 367 Agency, attitude matters as much as skill. We value curiosity, ownership, reliability, and a strong willingness to learn and take responsibility.

Benefits

  • We don’t run on rigid policies, ownership matters more than rulebooks

  • No micromanagement. If you take responsibility for your work, you get full trust and autonomy

  • No unnecessary salary cuts or restrictive leave calendars

  • Hybrid team offering flexibility to work from wherever you are

  • Freedom comes with responsibility, be available, responsive, and deliver quality work

  • Opportunity to sit in on real founder-level conversations and business discussions

  • Exposure to how real business and growth decisions are made

  • Work directly with leaders who have built and scaled some of India’s leading D2C brands

  • A learning environment where you gain practical industry exposure, not just task execution
