As the National Account Manager, you will drive impactful sales growth by leading and expanding relationships with a targeted portfolio of high-value national and regional customer groups. Leveraging strong distributor partnerships and cross-functional collaboration, you will develop and execute growth strategies, sales programs, and business development initiatives that align with organizational objectives. Through executive-level engagement, data-driven planning, and disciplined execution, you will build mutually beneficial partnerships that accelerate revenue growth, strengthen market position, and support long-term business success.

Responsibilities
Strategically lead and manage all sales activities related to the strategic customer portfolio, ensuring alignment with corporate growth objectives.
Cultivate and strengthen executive-level relationships with distributor accounts to drive long-term strategic alignment, data sharing, and mutual growth.
Design, implement, and oversee annual marketing and business development plans for the strategic customer portfolio, including bi-annual performance reviews with senior leadership. Ensure accountability for execution and outcomes.
Drive cross-functional coordination with distributors, the FSF, and the strategic customer portfolio, including program alignment, pricing, training, promotional programming, and targeted sales initiatives.
Deliver comprehensive quarterly reporting on strategic customer portfolio sell-through performance, highlighting key metrics, trends, and strategic recommendations.
Collaborate closely with the AprilAire Field Sales Force (FSF) and Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) to ensure seamless execution of national strategies at regional and local levels.
Develop and manage annual incentive programs, securing alignment and approval from the Vice President of Sales and ensuring measurable ROI.
Develop, manage, and partner closely with Channel Marketing on annual incentive programs.
Lead performance accountability efforts, ensuring strategic customer portfolio commitments, including sales volume targets and growth objectives, are achieved in exchange for strategic incentives.
Represent AprilAire at distribution and industry events as a senior leader, reinforcing brand presence and strategic partnerships.
Analyze market intelligence and sales data to inform strategic decisions, optimize marketing plans, and identify growth opportunities.
Resolve challenges related to distribution or sales support within the strategic customer portfolio in a professional and timely manner.
Identify and champion new product opportunities, including market sizing, pricing strategy, competitive analysis, and fit within the strategic customer portfolio's growth strategies.
Qualifications
Must live a major airport in the Midwest, Southeast, Southwest, and Northeast
Ability to travel 50% of the time away from your home office
Bachelor's degree
Minimum 5 years sales experience
Experience managing relationships within multi-site ownership networks and consolidated business groups preferred.
Proven success in leading strategic account management and driving growth through complex distributor networks.
Demonstrated ability to lead change and influence cross-functional teams, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
