Overview
MajorKey Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Identity Security Engineer to lead the technical delivery of customer identity and identity modernization projects for enterprise customers.
This individual will serve as the primary technical lead responsible for implementing modern identity solutions, guiding delivery resources, and supporting customers throughout the engagement lifecycle.
The ideal candidate has strong experience with Microsoft Azure AD B2C, customer identity and access management (CIAM/B2C) concepts, modern authentication protocols, and cloud-based identity solutions. Experience with hybrid identity and legacy Microsoft identity technologies is beneficial but not the primary focus of the role.
This is a client-facing consulting role requiring strong technical depth, communication skills, and leadership presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical delivery for customer identity and modern authentication projects.
- Design, develop, and support Azure AD B2C identity solutions, custom policies, and XML configurations.
- Build and maintain custom policies, technical profiles, user journeys, orchestration steps, claims transformations.
- Configure and manage Azure AD B2C applications, app registrations, redirect URIs, certificates, secrets, token claims, and session management policies.
- Implement federation and single sign-on (SSO) integrations using OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, SAML, and external identity provider connections.
- Support implementation efforts involving Microsoft Entra ID, External ID / B2C capabilities, federation technologies, Conditional Access, MFA, and identity governance solutions.
- Design and support authentication integrations using modern protocols including SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SCIM.
- Develop automation and operational tooling using PowerShell, Graph API, and related technologies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customer stakeholders on identity modernization and customer access strategies.
- Partner with Project Managers to align delivery milestones, risks, and technical execution.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft identity and access management technologies.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Ad B2C and cloud identity services.
- Experience with customer identity / CIAM / B2C solutions and external user authentication scenarios.
- Experience implementing federation and modern authentication protocols including SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and MFA solutions.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API, automation, and scripting using PowerShell or similar tooling.
- Experience troubleshooting authentication flows, identity integrations, and access management challenges.
- Strong understanding of Conditional Access, identity security concepts, and Zero Trust principles.
- Excellent communication and client-facing consulting skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM), Active Directory, or synchronization technologies.
- Experience in integrating SaaS applications and enterprise identity platforms.
- Microsoft certifications such as SC-300, AZ-500, or related security and identity certifications.
- Experience working in enterprise consulting or professional services environments.

This person understands that identity is no longer just internal workforce authentication, but a critical component of customer experience, security, and digital platform strategy.
