Responsibilities: • Cultivate relationships with real estate agents, builders, and industry professionals. • Evaluate loan applications and assess creditworthiness. • Recommend suitable loan options based on applicants' financial situations. • Collaborate with underwriters to ensure compliance with guidelines. • Communicate loan status and requirements to applicants. • Facilitate loan closings and document signings. • Stay informed about industry trends and regulations. • Maintain accurate records of loan applications and approvals. • Provide exceptional customer service and address inquiries. Qualifications: • Ability to effectively work in a strong team-oriented environment and provide outstanding communication and customer service to clients • Possess an advanced understanding of different loan products, such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/ fixed, commercial loans, etc. • Computer proficiency required including MS Office; some CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred • Preferably 5+ years of experience in a professional office or mortgage environment as a mortgage loan officer assistant or similar position • NMLS license or training is not required, but is desired • Proven experience as a Loan Officer or in a sales position having made over $100,000/year • Coachable, with a strong desire to grow • Excellent communication skills • Strong understanding of lending practices, regulations, and industry trends • Excellent knowledge of various loan products, interest rates, and terms • Ability to evaluate creditworthiness and analyze financial information • Effective communication and interpersonal skills • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to provide exceptional service • Detail-oriented and organized, maintaining accurate records • Collaborative team player with strong problem-solving skills • Familiarity with loan underwriting processes and guidelines • Adherence to legal and regulatory requirements in lending • Networking skills to build and maintain relationships with industry professionals • Ability to stay updated on market changes and adapt to evolving industry standards Compensation: $65,000 - $250,000
