AMG is assisting a well-established and reputable labor and employment law firm in their search for a Legal Assistant to join their San Diego office. Recognized as a top firm in their field, this role requires flexibility, exceptional attention to detail, and strong teamwork skills. The Legal Assistant will support three highly awarded attorneys and will have a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage calendars and research court, local, and judge's rules
  • Handle eFiling in State and Federal courts
  • Create tables of authority, bookmark exhibits, redact, and Bates stamp documents
  • Arrange travel, prepare expense reports, enter attorney timesheets, and perform other administrative tasks
  • Assist with case management
Qualifications:
  • 4-5+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary, handling litigation, preferably in labor and employment law
  • Proficiency in calendaring software, such as Compulaw
  • Knowledge of federal and CA court rules of procedure
  • Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain professionalism under pressure
  • High school diploma
