LEAD PRODUCT DESIGNER (HYBRID NYC)

Our Client, a fast-growing, extremely well-funded advanced AI startup led by highly experienced big tech veterans, is seeking a Lead Product Designer to join their team based in New York City. This is an opportunity to develop world-first and groundbreaking solutions in the most leading-edge space.

This hybrid role requires 2-3 days per week in-office in NYC.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Own Product Design within the organization - drive strategy and design, implement best practices for UX/UI and discipline process, and represent to other stakeholders
  • Individual contributor, hands-on design, develop a world-class product and future evolutions
  • Manage contractors, vendors, and partners
Must Haves:
  • This is a hands-on role - must be willing to perform design day-to-day
  • 10+ years' experience
  • Full stack product design expertise - strategy, UX/UI, etc.
  • Exceptional portfolio demonstrating problem-solving, UX strategy, and design and visual skills
  • We are looking for someone who is able to bring creative solutions to each challenge, not constrained by established paradigms. New and innovative thinking is critical. This must be demonstrated in the portfolio
  • SaaS experience
  • Web app experience
  • Confident, capable, and collaborative approach
Nice to Have:
  • Experience growing and leading a Product Design team
  • Experience with start-ups
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Base salary $195,000+ depending on experience
