THE WORK:
  • You'll serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, building strong client relationships and providing strategic guidance to solve complex project and business challenges.
  • You'll support business development efforts through industry expertise, thought leadership, proposal development, and participation in industry events.
  • You'll act as an Owner's Representative, overseeing capital projects from planning and initiation through execution, closeout, and handover.
  • You'll lead project planning and delivery activities, ensuring alignment with client objectives, budgets, schedules, and performance expectations.
  • You'll coordinate the overall project controls program across risk, schedule, cost, change management, governance, and reporting functions.
  • You'll drive program plans, priorities, deliverables, and action closure to support successful project outcomes.
  • You'll coordinate inputs across project controls functions, project teams, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency.
  • You'll monitor schedule, cost, risk, and change performance, proactively identifying trends and recommending corrective actions.
  • You'll identify delivery gaps, dependencies, and emerging issues while driving mitigation and resolution strategies.
  • You'll prepare governance materials, executive-level reporting, and performance updates for client and leadership review.
  • You'll escalate blockers, facilitate decision-making, and drive accountable resolution of project challenges.
  • You'll develop and implement program tools, processes, and initiatives that drive operational excellence, team growth, and client success.
  • You'll build and maintain impactful relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including presenting recommendations and updates to executive leadership.
  • You'll monitor program performance, assess client needs, analyze key metrics, and recommend scalable solutions that improve efficiency and outcomes.
  • You'll advise clients on resource planning and allocation strategies, including staffing and Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE) management.
  • You'll collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and client teams to drive successful project execution and achievement of program goals.
  • You'll identify and mitigate project risks while fostering effective communication and coordination across project teams, vendors, subcontractors, and stakeholders.


HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience/degree.
  • 10+ years of experience in the data center industry with strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) disciplines.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in construction, capital projects, project controls, or program management.
  • Demonstrated functional knowledge of all phases of construction and capital project delivery.
  • Practical experience across project controls disciplines, including cost management, scheduling, risk management, change management, governance, and reporting.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional project teams and stakeholders in complex capital delivery environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience preparing executive-level presentations, governance materials, and program performance reporting.
  • Ability to identify project risks, dependencies, and delivery issues and drive resolution independently.
  • Experience in project and program delivery within a fast-paced, client-facing environment.


BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent computer skills.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting contract documents, plans, and specifications.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or other capital project management and reporting platforms.
  • Experience establishing or improving project controls frameworks, governance processes, and performance reporting mechanisms.
  • Experience supporting large-scale data center, mission-critical, or complex infrastructure programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently while influencing diverse stakeholder groups across multiple project functions.

$135,000 - $175,000 a year
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Virginia or Washington as set forth below.
