Job Description:
The primary purpose of this position is to drive consistent Fresh execution across an assigned district through field support, coaching, and execution validation. This role partners closely with store leadership and store associates to reinforce Fresh operational standards, ensure production consistency, strengthen merchandising and in‑stock execution, and support performance outcomes related to sales, profit, labor effectiveness, and known loss reduction. The incumbent serves as a key operational partner to the District Manager and collaborates with the Regional Operations Fresh Specialist and Store Support Center (SSC) partners to ensure Fresh priorities are communicated clearly and executed consistently at store level within the assigned district. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not directly supervise associates. The Fresh Lead drives results through influence, coaching, partnership, and follow‑up with store leadership and store associates. The role supports accountability by reinforcing clear expectations, validating execution in the field, and partnering with the District Manager to address persistent barriers to performance.
Qualification Requirements
To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Business Retail Management, Food Service Management or related field preferred. Minimum of four (4) years' experience in retail operations, Fresh department leadership, Fresh merchandising, or store leadership roles required. Experience supporting multiple locations or district execution routines preferred.
Skills and Abilities
Strong knowledge of Fresh operations including merchandising standards, planogram execution, inventory routines, and backroom organization. Ability to influence outcomes without direct authority through strong partnerships, structured communication, and disciplined follow-up. Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent organization and time management capability, and strong problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze performance results and translate findings into clear execution actions. Proficiency with the Microsoft® Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
RATE OF PAY AND BENEFITS
The annual salary for this position is S70,000.00 - $90,000.00.
