Responsibilities

  • Developing a referral-based business, prospecting for new purchase and refinance clients, and marketing mortgage products.
  • Determine client's needs and financial abilities to propose solutions that suit them.
  • Guide borrowers through the loan application and mortgage process.
  • Take a complete and accurate loan applications in the loan origination system, providing borrowers with all required disclosures.
  • Analyze detailed financial and credit data, matching borrower requests/goals with an appropriate loan program and level of risk.
  • Gathering the necessary documents from the customer to prepare for underwriting.
  • Work closely with the wholesale lenders' mortgage staff to address any underwriting conditions for final approval.
  • Work closely with wholesale lenders' mortgage state to ensure seamless closing and funding.
  • Maintain compliance and a thorough knowledge of all mortgage products and services, including forms and documentation for each type of loan.

Requirements

  • Active FL, GA, MD, PA and/or TX NMLS licensee's only
  • 2+ years experience as a Mortgage Broker/Originator.
  • Encompass experience preferred.
  • Commercial Mortgage Origination a plus but not required
  • Strong time management and organizational skills in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work independently combined with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and quality focused.
  • Maintains a positive, helpful, constructive attitude and work relationship with colleagues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a high level of professional integrity.
  • Humble, grateful, and trustworthy
  • Proven track of successful sales record and/or the work ethic to create one and become a top producer.
