The Finance Manager oversees all finance operations, driving innovation and integration to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all billing processes. This role involves managing accounts receivable, collections, and reconciliations of applicable accounts, as well as overseeing deferred and accrued revenue. The successful candidate will bring excellent leadership and analytical skills, a proven ability to collaborate across teams, and outstanding attention to detail. This position also offers the opportunity to work on acquisition integration projects, adding a dynamic and exciting layer to the role. 

What You'll be Responsible for: 

•  Manage  the entire revenue cycle, including billing operations, accounts receivable, collections, and reconciliations. 
• Drive the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to optimize the billing process and improve efficiency. 
• Oversee accounts receivable and collections processes, ensuring that cash flow targets are met. 
• Reconcile applicable accounts, including revenue-related accounts, deferred revenue, and accrued revenue. 
• Develop and maintain billing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory mandates. 
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for efficiency improvements. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, and operations, to ensure accurate invoicing and smooth revenue cycle operations. 
• Lead efforts in acquisition integration, ensuring seamless transitions and alignment with corporate objectives. 
• Handle complex customer escalations and inquiries related to billing. 
• Prepare, update, and present revenue and billing reports to senior leadership. 
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to billing and revenue operations. 
• This role will provide dedicated support to the Managing Director of the Family Office. 

What You'll need to bring to Maropost: 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (CPA/CA preferred). 
• 8+ years of experience overseeing the billing process in a SaaS environment is highly preferred. 
• Proven expertise in revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and accrual accounting. 
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to billing, collections, and financial reporting. 
• Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems (Experience in Stripe and NetSuite would be advantageous). 
• Proficiency in CRM Software (Experience in Salesforce and HubSpot would be advantageous). 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset. 
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
