Location: Remote, Canada

Sur La Table is hiring an Email & SMS Associate to learn our email and SMS program from the ground up and grow into owning it. You will build, check, and send real campaigns to a large retail audience, working side by side with our CRM & Lifecycle Marketing Manager and production lead.

This role is built for someone early in their career who learns fast and takes initiative. You do not need years of experience or enterprise tools. You do need some hands-on email experience, a sharp eye for detail, and the drive to figure things out.

Within your first three months, you will be building, QA'ing, and scheduling campaigns in Braze on your own. By six months, you will be running tests, contributing ideas that change how we work, and owning a meaningful share of the daily program.

• Build email and SMS campaigns in Braze: slice and compress images, upload creative, add alt text and link tracking, and set up audiences.
• Own pre-send QA on every campaign. Check rendering, links, pricing, audience, and send settings before anything goes out.
• Schedule and deploy daily campaigns, starting with support and growing into full ownership.
• Turn the campaign calendar into briefs and tickets in Wrike, and help keep creative, copy, and audience on track before send day.
• Partner daily with Creative, E-commerce, and Merchandising teams to get campaigns out on time and on brand.
• Run A/B tests on subject lines, creative, and timing, then share what you learned and what we should change.
• Use AI tools like Claude to speed up campaign work, and suggest new ways to work smarter as a small team.
• Track performance on open, click, and conversion rates, and flag what is working and what is not.

• 0 to 2 years of hands-on experience sending email campaigns in any email or CRM platform, such as Klaviyo, Iterable, Customer.io, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Mailchimp, or Braze. Internships, freelance work, a side business, or a student organization all count.
• A track record of learning fast. You can point to a tool or skill you picked up quickly on your own.
• You have used AI on your own initiative to build, automate, or research something, outside of class or assigned work.
• Strong attention to detail. You catch mistakes before they go out.
• You take feedback well and use it to get better.
• You stay organized and steady when deadlines stack up, including during holiday peak, our busiest season.
• Comfort with technical work and a willingness to learn basic HTML for email.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Recent grads are encouraged to apply.

• Experience with Braze, Wunderkind, Google Analytics, Heap, Adobe Suite, or Canva.
• SMS campaign experience.
• HTML and CSS for email.
• Retail or e-commerce industry experience.
• A/B testing.
• Experience with Wrike, Figma, Email on Acid, or Litmus.
• Passion for the culinary industry and an affinity for the Sur La Table brand.
