What You Will Do

As the Director of Product Management you are responsible for driving the development and execution of the company's product strategy. Vouched is focused on driving growth while working towards profitability and you would be a hands-on contributor to this mission. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, leadership skills, technical and business acumen, and a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs. You are curious, customer-centric, and passionate about delivering experiences that delight developers and end-users. Vouched operates in a collaborative environment and you must work effectively with both customer facing and technical colleagues. This role requires someone who is organized, detail-oriented and willing to roll up their sleeves. You would be responsible for managing one product manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy: Develop and communicate the company's product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business goals and market opportunities
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire other product managers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of product initiatives
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, customer success and sales to drive product development efforts from concept to launch
  • Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats, informing product decisions and strategy
  • Product Development: Oversee and execute the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation and prioritization to implementation and launch, ensuring products meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget
  • Customer Insights: Gather and analyze customer feedback, behavior, and metrics to continuously iterate on products and improve user experience

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years experience in product management, with at least 2 years of experience in a leadership capacity
  • Deep understanding of product management best practices, methodologies, and tools, with a demonstrated ability to drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Previous experience in an early-stage startup required.
  • Product experience in Identity Verification and/or SaaS products preferred.
  • Successful track record of delivering complex technical products.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights and customer needs into actionable product plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments and familiarity with product management software (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Linear, etc.).
  • Passion for technology and innovation, with a customer-centric mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals and objectives.
