The Role


The Director of Client Partnership Management is a people leader within Nordic's Client Partnerships team responsible for leading, coaching, and developing Client Partnership Managers (CPMs) while driving growth of Nordic's staff augmentation business across existing and new accounts. This role is accountable for the staffing business line revenue target, CPM team performance, staffing sales strategy, pipeline growth, operating discipline, and consistent execution of staffing sales processes. The Director serves as the primary Client Partnerships liaison to the Staffing Business Line, partnering on go-to-market strategy, cross-functional processes, pricing considerations, client and consultant escalations, sales/delivery alignment, and business line growth objectives. This position is a critical part of the Client Partnerships team in solving client problems in the spirit of Nordic’s maxims.


Key Responsibilities

The Director of Client Partnership Management will have the following key responsibilities which include, but are not limited to:


Staffing Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth

  • Developing and executing staffing sales strategies to expand Nordic’s staff augmentation business across existing clients, former clients, and targeted new accounts
  • Being accountable for CPM team performance, including pipeline growth, bookings progress, forecast quality, account expansion, sales activity, and execution against business priorities
  • Partnering with leaders, CPEs, CPDs, and Solution Executives to identify staffing opportunities within account plans, client pursuits, relationship maps, white space, and campaigns

Staffing Business Line & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Serving as the primary Client Partnerships liaison to the Staffing Business Line and principal staffing sales counterpart to the Managing Director and Practice Lead for Staffing
  • Collaborating on go-to-market strategy, market opportunities, staffing sales priorities, consultant supply and demand, pricing considerations, delivery alignment, service quality, and client satisfaction

Client Engagement & Sales Leadership

  • Coaching CPMs on client communication, discovery, consultative positioning, pricing conversations, negotiation, objection handling, and escalation management
  • Providing leadership support for strategic client meetings, high-priority staffing pursuits, complex opportunities, and staffing-related escalations
  • Ensuring staffing opportunities align with broader account strategy and help identify when staffing requests should pivot to other Nordic solutions

Sales Excellence & Operating Discipline

  • Establishing consistent team rhythms for pipeline review, opportunity inspection, account prioritization, forecast updates, and sales activity tracking
  • Ensuring CPMs maintain accurate client, contact, opportunity, communication, activity, and next-step documentation in Salesforce and other required systems
  • Representing the CPM team in cross-functional initiatives to improve handoffs, processes, pricing/escalation pathways, shared accountability, and client outcomes; collaborating departments typically include Sales Operations, Account Manager leader, Staffing Business Line, Consulting Services, Resource Management, Billing & Reimbursement, HR, Legal, Talent, Sales Operations, and Finance
  • Improving workflows, reporting, dashboards, handoffs, playbooks, templates, and process compliance, ensuring updated documentation has been created and stored in a standard location
  • Contributing to Client Partnerships leadership discussions and ad hoc initiatives

Leadership & Talent Development

  • Leading, coaching, mentoring, and developing CPMs primarily responsible for staff augmentation growth across assigned accounts and territories
  • Establishing role expectations, performance standards, success metrics, operating rhythms, and career development support for the CPM team
  • Supporting hiring, onboarding, enablement, performance coaching, professional development, and best-practice sharing while reinforcing accountability, urgency, and collaboration

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 8+ years of customer service, account management, professional services sales, staffing sales, healthcare consulting, or business development experience preferred
  • Healthcare industry experience required, particularly within provider organizations, healthcare IT, consulting, or workforce solutions
  • Demonstrated success supporting revenue growth, opportunity development, client retention, and business expansion in a professional services environment
  • Experience with sales forecasting, pipeline management, account planning, opportunity management, and CRM discipline
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders and internal partners across multiple levels of an organization, including executive leaders
  • Experience collaborating across sales, delivery, operations, resource management, finance, HR, legal, and other cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
  • Strong understanding of staffing, consulting, managed services, or healthcare technology service delivery models required
  • Previous experience leading, mentoring, coaching, or developing team members required 
  • Experience with EHR and/or ERP platforms required, including Epic, Oracle Health, MEDITECH, Infor, and Workday
  • Ability to understand client business challenges and translate them into actionable staffing and consulting solutions
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, negotiation, decision-making, adaptability, and organizational skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, sales teams, delivery teams, and executive stakeholders
  • Self-motivated with demonstrated drive to proactively build relationships, identify opportunities, and contribute to business growth
  • Fluent with Microsoft Office 365 and Salesforce or similar CRM tools and familiarity with applying AI to business use cases
  • Must demonstrate and embody Nordic's Maxims
  • Able to work well under pressure and within time constraints

Additional Details

  • Remote position
  • Willingness to travel up 50% of the time based on business, client, team, and conference needs
  • Availability to work occasional nights and weekends as business needs arise
  • Must be accessible and available to support client needs, sales opportunities, team escalations, and business priorities as appropriate
