The Director will oversee dental sales growth, manage private label brands, and develop marketing strategies to enhance financial performance. They will also build relationships with members, monitor industry trends, and coordinate with internal committees.

Grow the sales of dental members within the guidelines of the company, both branded and private label. Provide analysis of sales trends and recommendations to enhance financial performance.
Oversee the development of marketing material and communication to customer base, including promotions, announcements and launches.
Present any new vendor recommendations based upon member feedback or market conditions to Vice President of Specialty Markets for assessment and evaluation.
Responsible for the dental private label brands, including request for proposal process, packaging, sell sheets, promotion coordination and sales.
Build relationships and business knowledge with membership to grow sales and future opportunities
Develop dental clinic sales with the medical members as opportunity arises.
Secondary responsibility for coordination of the Merchandise and Equipment Committee.
Monitor competitive and industry activity
Assist with literature and product sample requests
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Undergraduate degree required with Master of Business degree preferred, or ten to fifteen years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
10+ years of job-related experience
Specific experience in the dental market space in a sales management, marketing management or general management role
Strong verbal and written communication, creative problem solving, excellent organizational, analytical, and follow through skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Proven leader with financial capabilities and appropriate industry experience
A strategic visionary with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focus
An intelligent and articulate individual, able to relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills
A good educator who is trustworthy and willing to share information and serve as a mentor
Forward thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards
Ability to travel 25% - 35% including member visits and industry events as needed.
Preferred candidate will be based in the Western United States (Central, Mountain or Pacific Time Zone)
