AI Summary

The Client Engagement Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for enterprise clients, managing delivery across multiple digital workflow workstreams. They are responsible for translating complex business pain points into actionable technical requirements for the delivery team while identifying opportunities for account growth.
Spark partners with global enterprise brands to design and scale digital workflow systems — replacing manual, fragmented processes with connected, low-code operations built primarily in Airtable. Our Digital Workflow Transformation practice sits at the intersection of business strategy and applied technology, and this role is one of its most visible seats: owning the day-to-day relationship, delivery, and growth of our largest DWT account for a Fortune 50 consumer brand.

We're looking for someone who doesn't build in Airtable themselves, but genuinely understands what it and other low-code/no-code tools can do — well enough to sit with a Director or Senior Director-level client stakeholder, hear a messy operational pain point, and see the shape of the solution before our delivery team ever opens a base. You'll pair that technical fluency with sharp project management and the relationship instincts of a client success leader who can also spot and win new scope. If you like being the translator between ‘what the business needs' and ‘what the technology can do,' this role was built for you. Own the Relationship
  • Serve as the client's primary day-to-day contact and trusted advisor across a portfolio of digital workflow workstreams.
  • Build genuine working relationships with client stakeholders — from process owners to Director and Senior Director-level sponsors — grounded in reliability and follow-through, not just charm.
  • Represent the client's priorities internally, making sure Spark's delivery team understands not just what to build, but why it matters.
Translate Business Problems into Workflow Solutions
  • Understand, at a strong working level, how Airtable and adjacent low-code/no-code tools (automations, integrations, interfaces) can solve real operational problems — you won't be building bases yourself, but you need to speak the language fluently with those who do.
  • Partner with clients to surface inefficiencies and translate them into clear, scoped opportunities for Spark's technical delivery team.
  • Bridge business stakeholders and Spark's builders/architects — turning ambiguous requests into requirements the delivery team can actually execute against.
Run Delivery With Rigor
  • Own end-to-end project management across multiple concurrent workstreams — scoping, timelines, resourcing, and delivery.
  • Keep projects on budget, on schedule, and within SLA, escalating early and clearly when they're not.
  • Build repeatable delivery practices — status reporting, retros, documentation — that make the account easier to run as it scales.
Grow the Account
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand Spark's footprint within the existing client — new teams, business units, or use cases — rather than new-logo sales.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of new scope within the account, and make the business case for it credibly to client stakeholders.
Support commercial mechanics — SOWs, budgets, forecasting — in partnership with Spark leadership. You're part project manager, part client success leader, part account manager, and genuinely tech-curious. You don't need to create an Airtable base, but you should be the kind of person who's poked around in low-code tools enough to get why they're powerful — and who gets energized translating a client's operational challenges into a solution someone else can build. Specifically, you bring:
  • 4+ years managing client relationships and delivering projects in digital transformation, workflow/process consulting, or enterprise technology services.
  • Working familiarity with Airtable or comparable low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Monday.com, Smartsheet, Notion, Zapier/Make) — enough to understand capabilities and constraints, not to build hands-on.
  • Strong project management fundamentals: scoping, sequencing, and delivering multiple concurrent workstreams without things falling through the cracks.
  • A track record of growing accounts organically — spotting adjacent opportunities within a client relationship and turning them into scoped work.
  • Comfort operating as the connective tissue between client stakeholders and technical delivery teams, including translating non-technical requests into clear requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and the judgment to know when to escalate versus solve.
