Position Summary:

Edify promotes holistic and high-quality Christ-centered education in partnership with low-fee independent Christ-centered schools. The Edify Christ-Centered Education (CCE) Regional Lead is a full-time position and serves in a coordinating and facilitative leadership role. The CCE Regional Lead is responsible for providing strategic direction, guidance, coordination, and results for Edify’s CCE efforts in their region in order to effectively integrate Christ-centered values and principles into programming and interventions. In order to accomplish this, the CCE Regional Lead will provide leadership and support to the Program Leads and Coordinators serving within country offices in their region. Alongside their RVP and the VP of CCE, they will also lead on priority setting for the CCE in their region and take the initiative in planning and communications around these priorities.

Work Environment

This position will be based within the region being served. Currently Edify operates in the following South American countries: Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru, with plans to expand to Brazil and Columbia . There will also be collaboration with Edify’s regional and global teams in the other countries where Edify operates. The atmosphere of Edify is one where you can expect to perform widely varied tasks related to Christ-centered education.

Edify believes in the importance of using local resources in order to avoid duplication and build local capacity. Most of its program activities are, therefore, implemented in partnership with local lending and training organizations.

Alongside the CCE Program Leaders/Coordinators (“Program Leads”) in their region, the CCE Regional Lead will be responsible for supporting the design and implementation of interventions, as well as following up on and assessing Edify’s programs for Christ-centered education across the region. Moreover, the CCE Regional Lead will provide leadership to the Program Leads in carrying out capacity-building activities for the Christ-centered Education Officers (CCEOs) in their country offices and offer strategic guidance at all stages of their work. In addition to their duties as a coach and mentor for their regional Program Leads, the CCE Regional Lead will work closely with other members of the Edify team, along with performing any other related tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the CCE Regional Lead is achieving a positive and near one hundred percent correlation between training events and key performance indicators. This process will be completed by designing special training curricula for client, core, and champion schools in each operational, pilot, and associate country in the region, since each market faces a different context. This responsibility will be cascaded to the Country Directors, Program Leads, Program Coordinators, and Consultants, but the Regional Lead will be responsible for the overall process. The Regional Lead is expected to take full ownership of their work, exercising independent judgment to develop and finalize all materials without the need for supervisory review.
