This is a remote position.

We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Business Development-Pre-Sales Executive to join our interior design team.

The candidate will be responsible for identifying and connecting with potential customers, understanding their interior design requirements, qualifying leads, scheduling meetings with the senior sales/design team, and consistently following up with prospects to support business conversion.

This is a work-from-home role, so the candidate should be comfortable handling calls, online meetings, WhatsApp, email, LinkedIn/social media outreach, and maintaining regular follow-ups independently.

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify potential customers through online platforms, social media, LinkedIn, referrals, databases, and other relevant channels.
  • Make outbound calls to prospective customers and introduce the company's interior design services.
  • Generate new leads and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects.
  • Identify potential homeowners, property owners, real estate contacts, and other relevant prospects.

2. Pre-Sales & Lead Qualification

  • Speak with prospective customers and understand their requirements, property details, location, budget, timeline, and interior design needs.
  • Qualify leads based on their requirements, budget, project readiness, and potential business value.
  • Provide initial information about the company's interior design services, process, and offerings.
  • Handle basic customer queries professionally and provide relevant information.

3. Appointment & Meeting Coordination

  • Schedule calls or virtual meetings between qualified prospects and the senior sales/design team.
  • Ensure that all relevant customer requirements are shared with the concerned team before the meeting.
  • Follow up with prospects to ensure attendance and engagement in scheduled meetings.

4. Follow-Ups & Conversion Support

  • Maintain regular follow-ups with leads through calls, WhatsApp, email, and other communication channels.
  • Track the status of every lead and ensure timely follow-up at each stage.
  • Re-engage inactive or previously contacted prospects.
  • Support the senior sales team in moving qualified leads towards conversion.

5. CRM & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of leads, calls, follow-ups, appointments, and lead status in the company's CRM/software.
  • Update daily activities and maintain proper documentation of customer interactions.
  • Prepare regular reports on lead generation, follow-ups, appointments, and conversions.
  • Ensure that no qualified lead is missed due to lack of follow-up.

6. Market & Relationship Development

  • Research potential customer segments and new business opportunities in the interior design and real estate ecosystem.
  • Build relationships with potential referral sources, property professionals, architects, real estate professionals, and other relevant contacts.
  • Keep track of market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in Business Development, Pre-Sales, Inside Sales, Telecalling, Lead Generation, or Client Acquisition.
  • Experience in Interior Design, Real Estate, Architecture, Construction, Furniture, Modular Kitchen, or related industries will be preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer-handling skills.
  • Good convincing, negotiation, and follow-up abilities.
  • Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls.
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and identify genuine/qualified prospects.
  • Comfortable using WhatsApp, email, LinkedIn, Google Meet/Zoom, CRM tools, and MS Office/Google Workspace.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong target-oriented approach and willingness to work towards monthly lead and appointment targets.
  • Good English communication is required; knowledge of regional languages will be an added advantage.

Benefits

  • Full-time Work From Home opportunity.
  • Opportunity to work in the growing interior design industry.
  • Exposure to residential interior design sales and client acquisition.
  • Performance-based incentives.
  • Growth opportunities within the Sales & Business Development team.
  • Training and support from the senior sales/design team.
