Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable and patient-focused Bilingual Medical Receptionist with dental practice experience to join a remote healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting the front desk operations of a dental practice, managing patient communication, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and assisting with administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and patient inquiries.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm dental appointments.
  • Handle patient check-in and check-out.
  • Verify patient information and dental insurance eligibility.
  • Assist with insurance benefits, copays, deductibles, and patient balances.
  • Process payments and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Coordinate appointment reminders and patient follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Communicate with patients, dentists, hygienists, and other dental staff.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.
  • Support general administrative and front-desk operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a receptionist, front desk coordinator, or administrative professional in US dental practice.
  • Strong knowledge of dental office workflows, scheduling, and terminology.
  • Experience with dental insurance verification.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency with computers and dental practice management systems.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
  • HIPAA knowledge or certification is a plus.
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with dental insurance verification and claims-related processes.
  • Experience using dental practice management systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, Curve Dental, or similar platforms.
  • Previous experience working remotely in a dental setting (Must Have)
