Position Summary

We are seeking a Backend Implementation Specialist to own the data layer of every clinic implementation at Nsight Health. Reporting to the Director of Implementation, you are the precision behind the front-end's polish — the person who builds, validates, and documents the patient and account data that makes each go-live accurate, clean, and on time.

You live in Excel and Google Sheets, reconcile messy source data into clean rosters, set up and document EHR and EMR access, and catch the discrepancies that would otherwise surface after go-live. You partner closely with the Front-End Implementation Manager — they own the clinic relationship and the timeline, and you own the data that has to be right underneath it. When you hand off, the numbers are clean, documented, and ready for Customer Success to build on.

If you are someone who takes personal pride in a dataset that is exactly right, who finds satisfaction in catching the error nobody else noticed, and who wants their precision to directly power patient care at scale, this role was built for you.

AI Fluency Requirement - Non-Negotiable

Nsight Health is an AI-first organization. Every member of our leadership and operations team is expected to actively use AI tools in their day-to-day work - not as a novelty, but as a core productivity multiplier. This role requires genuine curiosity about AI, comfort experimenting with tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and workflow automation platforms, and the judgment to know when AI helps and when it doesn't. If AI makes you uncomfortable, this is not the right role.

Key Responsibilities

Data Setup and Integrity: Build and validate patient rosters, eligibility data, and account configuration for each new clinic and health system. Reconcile source data from multiple inputs into clean, accurate, go-live-ready datasets. QA and validate all data before go-live and before handoff to Customer Success. Build accurate program populations by applying diagnosis criteria, insurance rules, and clinic-specific requirements.

EHR and EMR Integration: Coordinate and document EHR and EMR access and data flows for each clinic. Troubleshoot data discrepancies and integration issues quickly and methodically. Maintain current documentation of every clinic's systems so the data picture is never a black box.

Excel and Google Sheets Execution: Manipulate, reconcile, and structure large datasets with speed and precision. Build the trackers and validation views the implementation team runs on. Apply data validation methods including Google Apps Script, custom formulas, lookup functions, and conditional logic to identify and resolve data quality issues.

Partnership and Handoff: Deliver clean data on schedule so front-end go-lives land on time. Flag data risks early and feed accurate, current records into the CRM and green-bar standard for Customer Success. Represent the Implementation team in clinic-facing meetings, communicating eligibility criteria, data workflows, and implementation processes clearly and professionally.

The Impact You’ll Make

Go-Lives That Actually Stick: Every clean dataset you build and validate is what allows a clinic to go live on time and without surprises. When the data is right, providers trust the program from day one. That trust starts with your work.

Patient Care That Starts Correctly: The patient rosters and eligibility populations you build determine which patients get enrolled in RPM and CCM programs that can genuinely improve their health. Precision at the data layer means more patients reached and more care delivered.

The Foundation Customer Success Builds On: When you hand off a clean, fully documented account, you are giving the Customer Success team everything they need to build a strong, lasting provider relationship. Your thoroughness at implementation echoes through the entire client lifecycle.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Two or more years in data, operations, implementation, or analyst roles.

  • Advanced Excel and Google Sheets proficiency, including data validation methods, Google Apps Script, custom formulas, lookup functions, and conditional logic to identify and resolve data quality issues.

  • Experience using enterprise password management platforms such as 1Password, LastPass, or Bitwarden to securely manage credentials.

  • Experience documenting and mapping data fields, workflows, and business rules to support automation, system integrations, or RPA initiatives.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a low tolerance for data errors.

  • Methodical and organized, able to manage data across many concurrent implementations.

  • Comfort representing the Implementation team in clinic-facing meetings and communicating technical data workflows in a clear, professional manner.

  • High AI fluency, meaning active, working use of AI tools in your daily professional workflow.

Preferred:

  • Experience with one or more EHR and EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks.

  • Healthcare data experience and familiarity with handling HIPAA-sensitive information.

  • SQL or other data-tooling experience.

  • Experience in remote care, RPM, or CCM.

  • Experience with HubSpot, Monday.com, or similar project management and CRM tooling.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base pay: $65,000 - $75,000

  • Performance-Based Bonus: Eligible for an annual bonus based on company and individual performance.

Benefits Include:

  • PTO Accrual

  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and supplemental insurance options

  • 401(k) Plan with 3.5% Company Match

  • Company-provided equipment
