The following position is to join our RTX Corporate team: The Associate Director, Talent Practices will develop and promote a talent philosophy that aligns performance management and career development programs to meet RTX's organizational objectives. This position will collaborate with Talent COE leaders to influence and enact a comprehensive talent strategy that focuses on creating leaders at all levels through effective performance management processes. This requires a candidate who is proactive in cross-functional communications and partnerships, proficient with analyzing large-scale data, and has program, project and team management experience. This position reports to the Senior Director, Talent Development & Learning and will work closely with TD&L and SBU Talent teams to ensure all 185,000 employees have access to career development opportunities that achieve RTX's overall performance goals. What You Will Do Develop an integrated Talent Management strategy including Talent Reviews, Succession Planning, Calibration, Goal Setting, Career Development, and Assessments & Planning, through the lens of an effective Performance Management system. Partner with HR and Talent COE leaders to effectively link performance and rewards to reinforce RTX's culture of performance excellence and continuous development. Collaborate with Talent leaders to create a unified approach to quarterly and annual performance reviews that include productive feedback mechanisms, talent identification, goal setting, career development, and career pathways. Lead efforts with the Learning Technology and Enablement lead to ensure performance management systems in Workday meet program requirements and enable end-users. Leverage technology solutions to aggregate and analyze performance data to draw connections between performance and organizational effectiveness. Oversee, manage, and guide RTX's continued innovations to performance management processes and ensure they align with strategic vision of Talent, HR and business leaders. Lead various strategic talent management efforts and project teams for talent identification, tracking, and movement, including policies, programs, and guidelines. Travel up to 25%, or as needed. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position. Relevant experience in Human Resources, Learning, Talent Development and/or Organizational Effectiveness Developing learning and/or organizational effectiveness interventions at scale. Demonstrated ability to create performance enhancing strategies and metrics that drive and sustain behavior change. Experience applying change management models and leading varying level of transformation/change involving multiple stakeholder groups at an enterprise level. Experience as a leader of others and effective collaborator. Must have ability for at least part of your workday to flex to overlap with U.S. Eastern time zone. Qualifications We Prefer Hybrid attendance to a major RTX location. Significant experience and demonstrated effectiveness in designing, deploying and managing large-scale performance management initiatives for F50-F100 matrixed, global organizations. Familiarity and proficiency with Workday features and functionality. Ability to work within a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Deep project or program management, organization, and the ability to deliver timely, quality projects, including overseeing multiple projects at the same time. Demonstrated experience creating professional and impactful presentations, communication and resources for a variety of audiences, including the executive leadership team. Experience successfully developing, leading, and launching enterprise-wide initiatives in the talent development space. Preferred certifications: leadership assessments, change management, ICF-certified coach. High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel). The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
