Job Details

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to high-level strategy meetings
- Try cases
- Conduct legal research
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and appeals
- Represent clients in court proceeding and hearings
- Take and defend depositions
- Lead interactions with clients and opposing counsel
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases
- Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the state of Oregon
- Several years of experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in legal drafting, negotiation, and litigation
