By leveraging decades of expertise in ASTM, AOAC, and USP standards, they help partners verify product efficacy, ensure safety compliance, and support innovative marketing claims through rigorous scientific analysis.
Job Summary
As an Account Manager, you will serve as the strategic bridge between our clients and our laboratory operations. This is not a standard customer support role; we are looking for a commercially-driven, relationship-focused professional who can navigate the complexities of a technical, scientific, and highly regulated B2B environment. You will be responsible for ensuring client satisfaction, driving high retention rates, and identifying growth opportunities within your portfolio. If you are a calm, highly organized communicator who thrives on managing multifaceted projects and maintaining long-term trust with sophisticated stakeholders, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, managing expectations and laboratory timelines with precision.
- Own the commercial health of your accounts, including responsibility for renewals, retention, and Net Revenue Retention (NRR).
- Proactively identify opportunities for cross-selling and account expansion by understanding client needs and technical requirements.
- Coordinate multiple active projects simultaneously, ensuring seamless communication between the client and the internal technical team.
- Handle account escalations with empathy and professionalism, resolving issues while maintaining the long-term integrity of the partnership.
- Maintain meticulous records within HubSpot to track client interactions, project status, and revenue forecasts.
- Monitor key performance indicators such as reorder rates, logo churn, and client satisfaction scores.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Account Management, Client Success, or Client Relationship Management.
- Proven track record in a technical, scientific, or highly regulated B2B services environment (e.g., Clinical, Engineering, or Complex Manufacturing).
- Demonstrated experience with commercial accountability, specifically in managing renewals or driving account growth.
- High proficiency in HubSpot for managing pipelines and client data.
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts accurately.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects without sacrificing quality.
- Professional stability and a proactive approach to problem-solving and client retention.
- Willingness to work US Central Time (CT) hours with a minimum 7-hour overlap between 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CT.
Nice-to-Haves
- Direct experience in Life Sciences, CRO/CDMO, or laboratory services.
- Previous experience using LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) or sample-tracking software.
- Experience managing enterprise-level or multi-site accounts with complex decision-making chains.
- Background in managing scientific services or high-stakes technical projects.
