The job  

Technology & Automation Account Manager responsible for driving growth within a defined territory by developing strategic customer relationships and identifying opportunities across the industrial software, automation, and digital transformation portfolio. The role requires a combination of strong sales, consultative selling skills, and the ability to engage stakeholders from operational users to executive leadership.

The ideal candidate has experience in industrial technology sales, solution selling, account planning, and business development. Strong communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills are essential, as the role involves close coordination with pre-sales, delivery, customer success, and partner organizations across the region.

 Key responsibilities 

  • Develop and execute account plans to achieve revenue growth and sales targets within assigned accounts and territories.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders at operational, technical, and executive levels.
  • Identify, qualify, and progress new business opportunities across the software and automation portfolio.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, customer success, partners, and delivery teams to ensure customer success and business growth.

Essential requirements 

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development within industrial technology, automation, or software industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and engage multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience working with enterprise customers in industries such as Energy, Mining, Manufacturing, Infrastructure, or Oil & Gas.
  • Professional proficiency in English and willingness to travel as required.

Desired skills 

Knowledge of industrial software, digital transformation, data analytics, AI, automation, or operational technology (OT) solutions.

Customer-centric mindset with the ability to understand business challenges and translate them into value-driven solutions.

Curiosity and continuous learning attitude to stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Strong collaboration, integrity, and relationship-building skills, demonstrating trust and accountability while working across cross-functional teams.
