The Account Manager will build strong relationships with existing clients to ensure value delivery and drive account growth through upselling and cross-selling. They will also manage the renewal process, monitor account health, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues.
What's the role about?
As an Account Manager based in Mexico and/or Uruguay, you'll be responsible for building strong relationships with Devlane's existing clients and helping them get the most value from their engineering teams. You'll work closely with U.S.-based stakeholders to understand their needs, support renewals, and identify opportunities to grow our partnerships through additional talent and services.
We're looking for someone who is proactive, commercially minded, and genuinely enjoys building long-term client relationships.
What do we require from you?
3+ years of experience as an Account Manager, Customer Success Manager, or similar client-facing role, ideally in B2B tech or digital services.
Experience managing existing accounts, renewals, and upselling/cross-selling opportunities.
Advanced/fluent English for daily communication with U.S.-based clients.
Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
A commercial and data-driven mindset, with the ability to identify growth opportunities within existing accounts.
Comfort working with CRM tools and keeping account information organized.
Technical knowledge is a plus, but can be learned if your previous experience is non-technical.
Willingness and ability to travel to the U.S. approximately 2–5 times per year.
What will you do?
Manage client relationships: Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders and become a trusted point of contact for our clients.
Drive account growth: Understand client needs and product roadmaps to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding engineering teams.
Own renewals: Manage the renewal process, negotiate commercial terms, and proactively address potential retention risks.
Monitor account health: Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews, gather feedback, and work with internal teams to resolve issues and keep clients successful.
Collaborate across teams: Partner with Talent Acquisition, People Engagement, and Sales to deliver a great client experience and support account growth.
