Account Manager

We're looking for a proactive, client-focused Account Manager to join our growing team in Brazil. This role would suit someone with hands-on experience managing Amazon and Mercado Livre accounts, who's ready to take ownership of client relationships and marketplace strategy.

As an Account Manager in Brazil, you'll be the main point of contact and internal owner for your clients' marketplace business - setting direction, managing the relationship, and driving results across Amazon, Mercado Livre, and other marketplaces. You'll work closely with our media, content, data, and retail teams to keep every account on track. Your day-to-day will focus on the following:

• Serve as the main point of contact and internal owner for clients on their overall marketplace business, with a focus on holistic direction and strategy, client services and relationships, and overall client success.
• Partner with clients to align on business objectives, and develop and implement growth strategies across Amazon and Mercado Livre to support those goals.
• Collaborate with media, content, data, and retail teams to ensure client objectives are met and executed within scope.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients across the Brazilian market.
• Build a strong understanding of the Amazon and Mercado Livre ecosystems, growth levers, and Podean's offerings and best practices.
• Gain an understanding of Podean's commercials, how engagements are scoped, and identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell.
• Analyze client, company, category, and industry data to make informed recommendations and sell strategies and ideas.
• Lead client calls, strategy sessions, and presentations with clients and internal team members.
• Manage client scope through internal and client prioritization, expectation setting, and alignment.
• Contribute to proactive account management initiatives, including knowledge sharing, SOPs, and training.
• Maintain strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Anticipate the impact and intersection of different components of your clients' marketplace businesses.
• Communicate clearly in both Portuguese and English, adapting your style to your audience.
• Stay up to date with Amazon, Mercado Livre, and industry trends, changes, and best practices.

Role Requirements

We're looking for someone with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in account management or client services on Amazon and other marketplaces, ideally with exposure to Mercado Livre. You should be comfortable owning client relationships and confident leading strategy conversations.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required

• Experience managing Amazon accounts is essential; familiarity with Mercado Livre or other Brazilian marketplaces is a plus.
• Strong understanding of the Amazon ecosystem, growth levers, and marketplace best practices.
• Comfortable analyzing client, category, and industry data to build strategic recommendations.
• Confident presenting insights and recommendations directly to clients.
• Strong communicator with a professional presence and clear client-facing style.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills: pivot tables, vlookups, and chart building.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts and priorities.
• Curious and thoughtful - you don't just report numbers, you look for what they mean.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
