AI Summary

The Account Executive will manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business to meet an annual quota. They will also be responsible for managing and expanding new accounts for their first 12 months post-close.

About the role

InfoTrust is becoming the integrity layer for marketing data. We’re in the middle of a deliberate shift from services to product, and we’re looking for a seller who wants to help build what comes next.

As an Account Executive on our Sales team, you’ll focus on winning new logos. You’ll own the full sales cycle, from first outreach to signed contract, for InfoTrust Suite and our Insights and Impact solutions, including licenses such as Google Marketing Platform and Amplitude. After you land a customer, you’ll grow it for its first 12 months, then move on to the next new logo.

You’ll get inbound leads and an SDR to work with, but you’ll source about half of your pipeline yourself. If you’ve sold SaaS, like building your own pipeline, and want a bigger hand in shaping how a company goes to market, we’d like to talk.

This role is remote in the US, working East Coast hours. If you’re near a team hub in Chicago, Cleveland, Cincinnati, the Bay Area or San Diego, that’s a plus but not required. Travel is about 10–20%.

What you'll do

  • Win new logos: Hunt, qualify and close net-new customers against an annual quota of $2.25M (consisting of approximately 75% new logos and 25% first-year expansion).
  • Build your own pipeline: Take ownership of your lead generation to source roughly 50% of your pipeline through outbound prospecting, alongside inbound and SDR-sourced opportunities.
  • Own the full sales cycle: Manage every deal from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close.
  • Keep deals moving: Drive momentum daily by multi-threading key accounts, establish clear next steps, and proactively push deals forward. Don’t wait for buyers to come back to you.
  • Maintain a healthy, predictable pipeline: Maintain 4-5x pipeline coverage to hit your number, with accurate forecasting.
  • Grow what you land: Manage and expand new accounts for their first 12 months after close.
  • Shape our go-to-market: Bring what you learn from the market back to the product and marketing teams as our offerings evolve.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in a direct, quota-carrying sales role closing new business.
  • Experience selling SaaS or subscription software to business buyers, ideally within the digital analytics, marketing technology, or media industry.
  • Comfortable with outbound and with owning your own pipeline. You don’t need an SDR background, but you need to know how to create opportunities.
  • Driven, ambitious and self-starting. You set your own goals and don’t wait to be told what to do.
  • You are highly adaptable and energized by a company in transformation. You can see the vision and want to help build it.
  • Experience with prospecting tools (ZoomInfo, Outreach, Sales Navigator, etc.) and possess a structured, repeatable method for getting in front of cold decision-makers.
  • You have a desire for action. You set your own bar high, don’t wait for instructions, and are energized by finding creative angles to win tough competitive leads.

Bonus: Experience with Google Marketing Platform, digital analytics or marketing technology. These can be learned on the job.

Compensation

The expected base salary for this role is $100,000–$135,000. On-target earnings (OTE) are $200,000–$270,000, split 50/50 between base salary and variable commission when you reach 100% of quota. Commissions are uncapped, and accelerators reward performance above quota. Base pay depends on job-related factors such as skills, experience and location.
