The Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC)

The Associate will conduct comparative legislative and policy analysis of drug markets in East, Southern, and West Africa. They will contribute to the development of two published research papers and support regional mapping of drug policy instruments.

Conduct policy-relevant field and desk research on organized crime, illicit economies, and security dynamics in West Africa. Draft analytical publications and utilize OSINT methodologies to monitor criminal networks and trends.

Lead investigative work on criminally driven deforestation and illegal mining in Indonesia to map criminal networks and financial flows. Serve as the primary focal point for engagement with Indonesian government agencies to translate intelligence into law enforcement action.
