The consultant will act as a global subject matter expert to assist an Australian financial institution with the structuring and negotiation of its merchant acquiring contract. Key deliverables include developing global best practice RFI and RFP documents targeted at major global schemes.
Provide expert data governance input into the design of the target-state operating model, capability framework, and multi-year roadmap. Facilitate information gathering sessions and contribute as a supporting SME within the project team to validate and endorse target state designs.
The consultant will identify procurement consolidation opportunities to drive cost savings and elevate the group procurement function to an enterprise-wide strategic capability. Key tasks include spend analysis, developing category strategies, and designing the operating model and governance for the function.
