They are responsible for identifying bottlenecks, implementing solutions, and ensuring a smooth transition of retained clients to the Case Management team.
The Team Lead will oversee a team of removal defense paralegals, managing workflows, deadlines, and department administration while maintaining a limited personal caseload of EOIR matters. They are responsible for ensuring case progression, conducting audits, and providing senior-level support to attorneys and staff.
Manage removal defense cases from intake to adjudication, including filing documents via the EOIR ECAS portal. Prepare legal drafts, motions, and evidence packets for Individual and Master Calendar Hearings.
