About the Role

We’re looking for detail-oriented Video Annotators to review video content, identify relevant visual information, and label data accurately to help train and improve AI systems.

Depending on project requirements, you may review different types of video content, such as traffic footage, surveillance-style recordings, or other real-world scenes. Your task may involve identifying objects, recognizing activities, tracking movements, or labeling specific events according to project guidelines.

What You’ll Do

• Review video clips and identify relevant objects, people, actions, events, and visual details.
• Annotate and label video content according to project-specific guidelines.
• Follow established instructions to maintain annotation accuracy and consistency.
• Review completed annotations and correct errors or inconsistencies when needed.
• Flag unclear content or cases that require further review.
• Meet project deadlines and productivity targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Adapt to updated annotation guidelines and project requirements.

What You Need

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify relevant information in video content.
• Good comprehension and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Strong observational and analytical skills.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to work with online tools and platforms.
• Ability to work independently and manage repetitive, detail-focused tasks.
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable work-from-home setup.
• Good written English comprehension to understand project instructions and document observations.

Personal Equipment Requirement

Candidates must provide their own laptop or desktop computer, as Expedock does not provide equipment for this role.

• Processor: Intel Core i5, AMD Ryzen 5, Apple M1, or equivalent.
• Memory (RAM): At least 8 GB.
• Storage: At least 10 GB of available storage space.
• Operating System: Windows 10 or a supported macOS version compatible with the required annotation tools.
• Primary Internet Connection: A stable connection with a target speed of at least 50 Mbps.
• Backup Internet Connection: A reliable backup connection, such as mobile data, capable of supporting video playback and annotation tasks during primary internet outages. Speed of at least 50 Mbps is preferred.
  

The device must be in good working condition and capable of playing assigned video files smoothly while running the required annotation tools. A dedicated graphics card is not required unless specified by the project.
