What we need 

We are seeking an experienced Senior Bidding Producer to join our Sales & Bidding department. Succeeding long-standing bidding team leadership, this role will be responsible for creating detailed VFX shot breakdowns, accurately pricing complex sequences, and managing client-facing bids across feature film, episodic, and commercial verticals.The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of 2D and 3D VFX workflows, strong studio client relationships, and precise analytical skills. Positioned to support our global footprint, this role offers time zone coverage for US West Coast and Asia-Pacific operations.

What you would do

• Analyze scripts, artwork, sequence turnovers, and client reference materials to formulate comprehensive VFX breakdowns and bid proposals.

• Partner closely with Executive Producers, VFX Supervisors, CG Supervisors, and Head of Production to establish methodology, shot scope, schedule constraints, and bidding strategies.

• Serve as a primary point of contact for studio clients during the bidding and procurement stage, presenting bids and discussing creative parameters, budgets, and schedules.

• Track script revisions, cut updates, and bid feedback to issue updated estimates and change orders promptly.

• Maintain and update internal bidding databases (ShotGrid/Flow Production Tracking) and pipeline records with accurate historical bid data.

• Facilitate seamless project hand-offs to awarded VFX Producers, EPs, and show supervisors, ensuring clarity regarding scope, turnover assumptions, and target margins.

• Provide timezone coverage across global hubs, maintaining responsiveness to client turnarounds and studio inquiries.

What you need

• Experience: 5+ years of experience as a VFX Bidding Producer, Senior VFX Producer, or Bidding TD within a high-end visual effects facility.

• Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of photoreal VFX workflows (2D compositing, 3D asset creation, lighting, FX, DMP, tracking, and onset supervision requirements).

• Client Relations: Proven track record of building and maintaining trust with studio executives, directors, VFX supervisors, and producers across major feature films and episodic series.

• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency with ShotGrid (Flow Production Tracking), Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets, and bid management software.

• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong negotiation abilities and an aptitude for client presentation.

• Adaptability: High resilience under tight deadlines with the ability to manage multiple competing bidding priorities in a fast-paced global studio environment.

• Location Flexibility: Preference for candidates located in the US West Coast (PST) or Australia (AEST), but open to qualified remote applicants capable of supporting global coverage.
