We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst to join our Client Services team.

Position Summary

We are seeking a client-facing Technical Solution Lead to join our Professional Services organization. This role serves as the day-to-day technical solution owner for enterprise SaaS implementations, partnering closely with clients to translate business objectives into implementation-ready solutions.

The Technical Solution Lead works alongside a Project Delivery Lead and is supported by Senior Architects, Business Analysts, and Technical Business Analysts. While Senior Architects provide architectural governance and make complex design decisions, the Technical Solution Lead owns the day-to-day technical solutioning effort throughout the implementation lifecycle.

This role is ideal for someone with strong technical analysis and client-facing consulting skills who aspires to become a Solution Architect.

What You'll Do

Client Solution Leadership

• Serve as the primary, day-to-day technical leader for a client implementation. This role is dedicated to one client at a time, allowing you to focus 100%.
• Facilitate technical discovery and solution design working sessions with client stakeholders.
• Partner with the client's architects, business analysts, and technology teams to define implementation approaches. You'll be able to collaborate with a Sureify Senior Architect as needed.
• Review and approve agile stories produced by Business Analysts and Technical Business Analysts to ensure business requirements are accurately translated for the engineering team. 

Solution Design & Analysis

• Decompose business requirements into implementation-ready user stories.
• Define API integrations, data mappings, validation rules, and business processes.
• Identify technical risks, assumptions, and dependencies early in the project lifecycle.
• Produce high-quality solution documentation and implementation guidance.

Delivery Partnership

• Partner closely with the Project Delivery Lead to ensure solution readiness throughout delivery.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Technical Business Analysts to refine requirements.
• Support engineering teams by clarifying functional and technical requirements.
• Escalate complex architectural decisions to Senior Architects while independently driving day-to-day solution definition.

Quality & Continuous Improvement

• Leverage consistent solution design standards for your implementation by consulting with Senior Architects on patterns established at other clients.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve documentation, requirements decomposition, and solution quality.
• Contribute to Sureify’s best practices in the form of lessons learned and reusable delivery assets.

Required Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 4–6 years of experience in enterprise software implementation, solution consulting, technical business analysis, or solution architecture.
• Experience working with enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, data integration, and SQL.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Comfortable with facilitating working sessions with technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience working directly with software engineering teams.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience working in Agile software delivery environments.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Life & Annuity insurance industry.
• Experience working in Fintech, Insurtech, technology consulting, or at an insurance carrier or financial services firm.
• Familiarity with policy administration systems, identity providers, data middleware, and digital servicing portals.
• Experience using AI tools to improve solution design or delivery processes.

Success in This Role

Within your first year, you will:

• Be the day-to-day technical leader for a major new enterprise client.
• Build trusted relationships with the client's technical and program management staff.
• Produce implementation-ready solution designs with minimal oversight.
• Partner with a Senior Architect to focus on architectural governance and complex technical decisions.
• Improve delivery quality through better requirements decomposition and solution clarity.
• Help scale our delivery organization through consistent, repeatable leadership.

Unlike a traditional Business Analyst or Solution Architect, the Technical Solution Lead owns the day-to-day technical solutioning effort throughout an implementation.

You will spend much of your time collaborating directly with clients—leading working sessions, solving technical challenges, defining APIs and client-side integrations, overseeing data mappings, and ensuring our engineering teams have everything they need to build successfully.
