Job Title: Tax Analyst

We are looking for a Tax Analyst to support vendor tax reporting and compliance activities. This role will help manage 1099, 1042-S, and California Form 590 reporting, maintain vendor tax documentation, and ensure compliance with IRS and state requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support annual 1099, 1042-S, and California Form 590 reporting
  • Collect, review, and maintain vendor tax forms, including W-9s and W-8s
  • Monitor vendor payments to determine reporting and withholding requirements
  • Assist with preparing and reconciling tax filings submitted to the IRS and state agencies
  • Handle B Notices and support tax-related inquiries and correspondence
  • Track reporting deadlines and maintain compliance calendars
  • Partner with Accounts Payable, Vendor Master Data, and Tax teams to ensure accurate vendor information
  • Support audits, tax inquiries, and special projects
  • Help identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, vendor management, tax compliance, or a related area
  • Knowledge of 1099, 1042-S, and California Form 590 reporting requirements
  • Strong Excel skills, including data analysis and reconciliations
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
