Brillient’s Talent Acquisition team is seeking a driven, people-focused recruiter ready to build a career in government contracting recruiting. As a Talent Acquisition Recruiter, you'll manage full-cycle recruiting for positions supporting Brillient's federal programs and organizational hiring needs, mentored by a Senior Talent Acquisition Recruiter and TA Manager as you grow toward independently owning your own requisitions. You'll partner with hiring managers to understand their needs, source and screen candidates, and guide the hiring process from initial outreach through onboarding.
What You'll Do
Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned requisitions, including intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer support, under the guidance of the Senior Talent Acquisition Recruiter and TA Manager.
Recruit for positions supporting federal client programs and organizational hiring needs, including staffing tied to proposals, new business pursuits, contract transitions, and program start-ups.
Source candidates through active and passive channels, applying sourcing strategies developed with the Senior Recruiter or Manager.
Conduct phone screens and structured interviews, and schedule and coordinate your own candidate interviews.
Support offer discussions and negotiations, helping close candidates alongside the Senior Recruiter or Manager.
Maintain timely, professional communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Partner with hiring managers to understand requisition needs and provide pipeline updates.
Partner with the TA Senior Operations Specialist for a smooth handoff from offer acceptance through the new hire's first day.
Maintain accurate candidate data and documentation in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including statuses, feedback, interview stages, and disposition information.
Develop an understanding of federal hiring environments and how security clearance requirements shape sourcing and screening.

QualificationsRequired Education and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2–4 years of full-cycle Talent Acquisition, HR, or recruiting experience.
Due to federal contract requirements, eligibility for this role is limited to U.S. Persons.
Experience sourcing candidates through multiple recruiting channels.
Experience conducting candidate screens and interviews and evaluating qualifications against position requirements.
Hands-on experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), with a strong focus on data accuracy and organized recruiting records.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the professionalism to represent Brillient in candidate-facing conversations.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience recruiting in a government contracting, federal, or similarly regulated environment.
Familiarity with labor categories (LCATs), contract staffing requirements, or similar structured staffing models.
Experience supporting Defense, Space, Intelligence, or Civilian federal programs.
Familiarity with federal security clearance levels and how clearance requirements influence sourcing and candidate screening.
Experience using Paycom or other ATS platforms such as iCIMS, Greenhouse, Workday, or AgileATS.
