Job Description

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Programme Intern to join our global Talent Acquisition team in Lisbon.

You will help us design, organise and launch Unit4’s internship and early careers programme. This is not a traditional administrative internship. You will take ownership of a real international project and help turn our ideas into a clear, repeatable programme. 

Working closely with the Talent Acquisition Operations Manager and colleagues across Talent Acquisition and People Experience, you will help create a consistent experience for interns, hiring managers and mentors. The programme will begin with Granada and provide a model that can be adapted for other Unit4 locations. 

You will gain practical experience in programme management, recruitment operations, university engagement, communications and data. You will also have the opportunity to work with colleagues across different countries and functions. 

What You’ll Do 

Help build the programme 

• Turn the internship programme proposal into a clear delivery plan. 
• Help define the steps, responsibilities, templates and timelines needed to run internships successfully. 
• Create practical guidance for interns, hiring managers and mentors. 
• Support a consistent intern journey, from attraction and selection through to onboarding, development and end-of-internship review. 
• Keep programme actions, decisions, risks and dependencies organised and up to date. 

Support university and candidate engagement 

• Research relevant universities, courses and student groups, starting with Granada. 
• Help coordinate communication and activities with university contacts. 
• Support the preparation of internship adverts, candidate information and recruitment materials. 
• Help organise recruitment events, interviews and selection activities. 
• Maintain clear and professional communication with candidates throughout the process. 

Coordinate the intern experience 

• Help prepare onboarding information and welcome materials. 
• Coordinate check-ins with interns, hiring managers and mentors. 
• Gather feedback during and at the end of each internship. 
• Help identify improvements for future programmes. 
• Support activities that help interns feel part of Unit4 and understand the wider business. 

Create useful tools and information 

• Develop templates, checklists, trackers and simple programme guides. 
• Help gather information on internship requirements across different locations. 
• Maintain accurate programme records and documentation. 
• Support reporting on applications, participation, completed projects, feedback and potential future hiring. 
• Prepare clear updates and presentations for the Talent Acquisition team and other stakeholders. 

Support the wider Talent Acquisition team 

• Contribute to other Talent Acquisition operations and improvement projects where needed. 
• Look for simple ways to improve processes and reduce unnecessary administration. 
• Explore how digital tools and AI can make the programme easier to manage and improve the experience for candidates and managers. 
• Share ideas, challenge existing approaches and help us test new ways of working.

Qualifications

We are more interested in your curiosity, organisation and willingness to learn than in a specific degree subject. 

You must be fluent in English and Spanish. 

You may be studying a degree in areas such as: 

• Human Resources or Psychology 
• Business or Management 
• Communications or Marketing 
• Education 
• Social Sciences or Humanities 
• Data, Technology or another relevant subject 

We would like you to bring: 

• Strong organisation and attention to detail. 
• Clear written and verbal communication skills. 
• Confidence working with different people and asking questions. 
• An interest in recruitment or project management. 
• The ability to manage several activities and keep others informed. 
• A practical approach to solving problems. 
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar tools. 
• An interest in AI and how technology can improve the way people work. 
• Good spoken and written English. 
• Spanish language skills. 

No previous recruitment experience is required. We will give you support, context and opportunities to learn.

• Guidance and tools for interns, hiring managers and mentors. 
• Stronger coordination with universities and internal stakeholders. 
• A consistent way to collect feedback and measure programme outcomes. 
• Recommendations for improving and expanding the programme. 

The wider ambition is to build an early careers programme that gives people meaningful experience, brings fresh thinking into Unit4 and creates a pipeline of future talent.
