Summary
The Strategic Technology Manager provides day-to-day program management and strategic planning support for the Hybrid Care Initiative. Reporting to the Program Director, this role is responsible for creating and maintaining the integrated workplan, coordinating across stakeholders, departments and workstreams, to drive the development of a new solution that removes barriers to patient care. The role will track risks, dependencies, and decisions, as well as prepare materials for C-suite Advisory Committee members. They will also serve as the day-to-day coordination point with external consulting and other advisory partners.
While the Program Director sets strategic direction and priorities; the Strategic Technology Manager translates that vision into a well-organized, tracked, and documented program of work. The initiative’s scope and structure will evolve over the engagement, so the Strategic Technology Manager should be comfortable operating with ambiguity while bringing structure, organization, and reliable follow-through to the work.
Scope of Engagement
The Strategic Technology Manager will provide project management support to the Hybrid Care Initiative on behalf of the Program Director. The specific scope of services, deliverables, and success measures will be documented in the 90-day objectives and reviewed periodically with the Program Director. The engagement includes:
Maintaining the integrated program workplan, risk and dependency tracking, and decision log
Preparing agendas, materials, and follow-up documentation for Advisory Committee meetings, under the Program Director’s direction
Day-to-day coordination with external consulting and advisory partners, including deliverable and timeline tracking
Coordination and communication across workstreams and Company stakeholders, as directed by the Program Director
As the program moves from scoping to deliverables, this role will also work closely with the Epic Operations team to align objectives in support of this initiative.
Initial Priorities
During the first phase of the engagement, the Strategic Technology Manager will work with the Program Director to stand up the operational foundations of the Hybrid Care Initiative. Initial priorities are expected to include:

Establishing an integrated program workplan, risk and dependency tracking, and a decision log covering all active workstreams
Supporting the Program Director in preparing materials that frame upcoming decision points for the Advisory Committee

Assist with resource forecasting and risk assessment
Active engagement with project teams as needed to support and review project plans
